Nice anodized looking finish. Decent size not too small not too big the clips have a solid, but do not require lots of effort to open. For clipping things to my backpack and other molle loops.

When I found these several years ago, I stopped buying any other brand.Most biners this size are cheap, flimsy and poorly finished. They fail and you lose your stuff.No so with Boomers. The spring keeps the gate closed well enough. I don't find them loose in my pocket - they stay on the key ring. In other applications around kayaks and backpacks, I have had no failures.Use them long enough and you'll wear the finish off of these, but the aluminum patina gives them a little character.I give boxes of these away during the holidays to everyone I know spends their off time in the outdoors. Super useful and always appreciated.

Lightweight but strong enough and useful in lawn work, securing loads, etc

This is my second set to go with a new tarp I have. Like these very much, don't rust, strong spring.

These are the handiest and most useful clips. I liked the first bunch so much I ordered as second set. I've used them camping and fishing and just might get a third set. For camping, I've used them to connect guy lines to tents & tarps and to hang things from the top of a canopy to keep the animals out of them. I use them with crab traps to connect lines to the traps and secure the other end of the line. The uses are almost unlimited.

smaller than I expected but work fine in most applications. Purchased for hunting season to put on ends of pull up ropes for tree stand hunting. Strong and work well.
