very good info
The peptide info that it contains is very good. However there were a few peptides that I wanted info on that weren't in the book.

Informative
This is my go to peptide book. It's meant more for medical staff, but a person with no medical degree can benefit.

Every newbie/beginner to PEPS NEEDS this book!
I highly recommend getting your hands on this book and the other two that recommended along with this one. This book is packed with useful and informative information. I have book marked and highlighted a lot of things and this has become my little Peptide Bible. I have started my Tirzepatide journey and am learning about the other amazing peptides and the benefits each have to offer. I appreciate that the information is summarized and isn’t a boring ol book. I hope they figure out how to keep these amazing peps around and make it easier to get and a little more affordable because it has been a lifesaver for thousands especially the GLP’s! I’m on my first 2 months and have lost 17pounds my first month so far. Keeping up on my journey on Ig: Cakefacebrit

A lot of information in a concise format
As a doctor trained and board certified in Functional and Regenerative medicine Ive heard James LaValle speak at many medical conferences over the years and I've always been impressed with his breath of knowledge and professionalism. This is the primary reason I purchased his book. He gives you a concise summary of the most commonly prescribed peptides with an effort to present the benefits and risks in a matter of fact non-hypertrophied manner. He backs up his recommendations with references to several hundred citations across the medical literature. It is probably a little bit overwhelming for the non-physician reader but for the practitioner prescribing Peptide Therapy its a must have "go-to" reference that can be used as a stand alone or as an excellent starting point for those who want to dig in deeper to the clinical science of peptide therapy.

It is what it says it is.
It's a good reference guide, something to keep and try out in your research projects. Gives you enough information and context about the structure and mechanics of peptides that you can do your own deeper research if necessary so you're not starting from scratch. Like any reference some info will eventually be outdated but it's good to have on the shelf if you're interested in the many varied types and uses of peptides.
