It takes awhile to put it together, especially if the holes are not aligned....took about an hour plus, I can not say anything about the quality of the rower b/c I just got will come back in about a month....but it is relatively quiet when rowing = well I'm back and I dropped it a star because of ONE METERIC it doesn't have the 500 meter split time....IT HAS ALL OTHER METRICS..as you get seriously into rowing you will find that the split metric...is the primary numbers that rowering clubs and apps use to gage progression. This rower would be great in Xcross fit gym or if u just like to row!....it has almost everything you need except the 500 spilt time....which is essential if you are working along within a group setting or any of the YouTube or other apps for rowering....I reached that point and after talking to STAMINA...I decided to buy a used C2 D 1ST GEN...( GREY AND WHITE MODEL)...I ask if they where going to incorporate that meteric in newer machines and if so can I just by the monitor [it is a nice one] with this metric...they said they are not doing that so I went to a C2......if I had known this before while I was actively looking for a rower I would have done a Hard Pass....again for the casual user and Crossfit enthusiast the Watts and Calories and SPM...will just do you find..and I truly believe because of the quality of this rower it WILL LAST A LIFE TIME...of course with proper maintenance and wear and tear of standard parts replacemet will hold just Like a C2....

The Stamina AMRAP rower is the perfect competitor of the Concept II rower and its almost 1/2 the price. I was looking for a concept II rower for over a month hoping to find a deal or a used one. However, after I came across the stamina amrap and read the reviews, I decided to take a chance at half the price. At worst, I’d send back if the quality didn’t compete. Turns out, the stamina amrap rower is the perfect alternative for the concept 2 rower. It’s quality is the same and the LCD gives you input than the concept 2 LCD, plus its half the price!!! Easy to assemble except for the pull pin. Word to the wise... you’ll need to smack down the 2 frames in order to line up th wholes correctly to set the pull pin. Other than that, it’s easy to assemble, great quality, has more input options on the LCD, and is the perfect competitor to the concept 2. Chain rower not too noisy, and offers different tension levels for all levels of intensity. If you are looking for a high quality rower and not wanting to pay “Globo Gym” retail pricing, then look no further.

Did not want to expend 1K for a concept 2, so I took the risk and buy the Stamina, no regrets at all, great quality, solid, my wife and I used almost everyday, after 3 months of use no problems at all, this one is made out of steel so it is a bit heavy in comparison with the concept 2 that is many aluminum (much lighter).You can not wrong with this one.Enjoy

Good rower...not great but good. Pretty good quality and feel. One of the glide seat wheels was broken when I got it but it was still functioning. I spoke with Stamina and they sent a new pair free of charge very quickly.👍Good entry level machine, but very little features from the monitor. No connectivity for apps like the Concept 2 or a few other higher end units. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Spent almost $600 and foiled by a 60 cent part. Foot strap broke on the second use. Two months later I am still waiting for a replacement from the manufacturer and I had to rig a sleeping bag strap from a camping supply company to use the machine.Have a feeling I am going to regret the purchase in a year when some other part breaks that is not easily replaced with work around.

This rower is quite an impressive machine. My wife and I both love how much of a full body workout it provides. Sometimes we only have 10 or 15 minutes in our busy schedules to exercise and this rower is perfect for a quick yet intense workout. I also couldn’t believe how easy the assembly was. The STAMINA X AMRAP Rowing Machine has been an awesome addition to our weekly routine, we love it!

Put it together, my wife took one pull and a loud crunch and scraping noises happened. We weren’t happy to say the least, but amazon tech support was really helpful with returning and getting a new one. Replacement was delivered. I assembled per instructions again. After a couple pulls same thing pound noises started coming from the fab area and the monitor wouldn’t work. Needless to say return this product and getting my money back. There is clearly a defective part that needs attention. Overall it is a sturdy rower and if this part had not broken on us twice straight out the box. We would have given it better reviews. It’s easy to put together and is very sturdy. It just needs some issues addressed.

Same as concept 2, $300 less.
