My dogs love these Vital Essentials freeze-dried treats. They are fragrant up close, but less stinky than fresh liver, and I don't expect beef liver to smell like flowers. I love the limited ingredient list, especially when we are learning new training tasks and I need multiple treats in a short amount of time. I would much rather give my dog multiple pieces of freeze-dried meat than other "junk food" treats. I have a few dogs with allergy issues and sensitive stomachs. Rich treats often upset their GI system, but they can eat many flavors of Vital Essentials without any unwanted side effects.I think these are a great size for training a variety of dog sizes, and even cats. If I grab a bigger piece for the cat, I just break it in half. I think the cost is a great value for the quality meat product inside. Happy training!

My cat and dog love these they are always looking forward to getting these. And it’s better that these are pretty healthy alternative for regular treats. They are durable and don’t break when picking up, but are gentle and easy for both animals too eat. Warning you though that they do smell pretty gross and strong but that is appetizing to them!

My dog goes nuts for these bully sticks! He will no longer eat the other bully sticks that last longer, which is what he started with.I believe the raw, freeze-dried method provides a high-quality taste, which is why he loves them so much!! Considering how quickly he consumes them, they are a bit pricey, but the joy he gets from these treats is worth it.I become happy myself knowing how much he loves these bully sticks.I highly recommend these treats to any pet parent looking for a high-value treat, your fur baby won't tire of.

I really like the quality of these treats; the ingredients are clean and make me feel good about giving them to my dog. They’ve been great for training, and my pup absolutely loves them! The only downside is that they have a very strong odor, so I make sure to keep the bag sealed tight. Overall, a great option if you want healthy, high-quality treats for your dog at a lower price point. I honestly prefer them over the more expensive brands.

Expensive, but dogs and cats love these. Good for training. Makes hands stink, but raw, freeze dried meat does that. I use sparingly bc of the cost, but don’t think there is a better product for the price. Will continue to use.

These are safe for kitties, it’s the same products as what is marketed for cats and at a very slightly better value when purchased in this size. Which for me, is great because I care for 7 cats and feed 8 daily! I personally appreciate that these have some oils still left in them after being freeze dried. I know that is gross to some folks but to me that means the product is quality and fresh. I have to cut them up for my kitties into bite size pieces, so the oils come out and get on my fingers a bit. This doesn’t bother me, I think because I’m personally not eating the product, and my kitties absolutely love them. They are thick and chewy so it takes my kitties a while to much one down completely but they can and certainly have. I have tried other brands of chicken hearts, this has been my favorite. I wish there was a bulk size option for multi-pet homes but this size bag can last me a good while, I go through 2-3 a day. Great product!
