I like the tapered ankle. These are definitely not the straight legged bell bottom jeans most snowflakes wear these days. Good jeans! Hope they last!

So much misinformation in these answers! These are the B18 line, and they're not relaxed fit at all. They fit nice and snug around the thigh and taper down to a nice narrow but not too narrow opening over your shoes or boots . Perfect jeans for men who want a traditional fitting jean that starts at the natural waist and celebrates your form...possibly terrifying some but that's their problem. The main description page for these jeans is confusing at best. Nothing "relaxed fit" about them. What's that doing in the description summary for this B18 line? That's the B17 line that balloons out in the thigh like the Levis 550s I wore in the 1990s; not these.

I don’t know the measurement. My husband need a a 35w and these are the only jeans that he finds that size in and they fit well. Hope this helps.
