We wanted a lower toxic set of bowls to pack a child’s lunch in. They’re durable and functional for a lunch box. They don’t leak either. Super easy to clean by hand or just pop them in the dishwasher. They have the perfect sizes for what we’re wanting to put in them and fit them inside of the lunch box. Our child is very young and has no problem getting them open at school.

I filled these steel bowls half full with water, put the lid on, then vigorously shook them. Not a single drop came out. That’s my test for assured freshness.I’m also looking forward to being able to carry them sideways on my bike without worrying about them leaking. Compared to the Pyrex bowls I have been using, these are stronger, much lighter weight and the lids fit much more snuggly.I also bought a similar set of Mira bowls, with LDPE lids, which are more rigid and feel like they seal even stronger than the UCONSERVE silicone lids. I’m keeping both, because the Mira bowl lids feel stronger and even less likely to leak. The silicone UCONSERVE lids are also super tight, and much easier to put on and remove.

I'm gradually switching over to non-toxic products like glass and stainless steel! This is a great stainless steel product that I use for packing lunches and storing cooked items in the refrigerator. The seal doesn't leak.

Honestly I'm just going to get straight to the point the only reason I didn't rate this a full 5 was because when it comes to storing powders it sticks to the top of the inside of the lid but otherwise fantastic containers great quality easy to use easy to store it fits just a little more than 5 table spoons of powder and it's dishwasher safe it's a win all around

I love U-Konserve stainless steel containers with silicone lids. I have several sizes.

I like to use these for nuts, or as a butter dish. Many uses in my camper to take smaller portions of anything. The silicone lids fit nice and tight.
