Very inaccurate gauge with a useless instruction sheet.
The most important question you have when purchasing a tyre pressure gauge is is it accurate? Well in this instance this gauge is very inaccurate indeed by reading at least 3.5 lbs or more when I tested it on a fully calibrated commercial pressure gauge. Even gauges costing £5 are generally accurate to within 2lbs so when a gauge is priced at £79.97 (or £42.42 as I bought it on a lightning deal) I expect it to be very accurate. Just to add to the frustration with this gauge the instruction sheet is useless as all it consists of is how to insert the supplied AAA batteries, how to turn it on using the ON button then press the the chuck firmly on the tyre valve. No mention is made on the leaflet or the suppliers website of how you change the readings from lbs, to BAR, to kg/cm2 or kPa, thankfully after some time scouring the internet I discovered a review on Youtube of the same gauge under the Moroso name which thankfully explained how to change the reading units as well as four other modes such as holding the pressure or constant reading/release pressure, time delay before turning off, sensitivity/increment reading and lastly how quick the gauge will take a reading. Overall I'd have been disappointed if this gauge had cost just £10 as it fails the whole point of having a gauge as in being able to take accurate readings to I've returned it to Amazon for a refund.
