My daughter works in food service and one of the tricks is to make sure that your appearance is neat and corky it draws attention and helps with tips. We took these hair bands and braided her hair and matched the colors of her clothes to her hair they turned out so cute and she is seeing many more tips and they're very sturdy. Her hair is really thick and we managed to at least get two wraps on her braid.

These are definitely for thick hair. They are bigger width wise to accommodate all your hair. They won't slip or just fall out. Nice assortment of colors.
