We love these salt and pepper shakers. I was put off buying them at first as one review I read said the lids went rusty. So glad I decided to try them anyway as they’re great. We’ve had them 18 months now and they’re still in perfect condition so I highly recommend. I just make sure to wipe any excess salt away when refilling them as I know that salt can rust stainless steel but if you wipe them they’re fine 🙂 we’ve also saved a small fortune in salt as before we were buying the saxa sea salt pots which aren’t refillable and now we just buy a 1kg bag of salt from Amazon for £3.5 and fill these up when needed. The bag of salt lasts us ages, think we brought the last one around 8 months ago and only just running out now.

these would be Ok it the holes were not so large which releases far too much condiment even if only gently shaken, therefore returned.

My wife and I, we don’t like to share. That is, we always fight over our salt shaker when enjoying a boiled egg for breakfast. So we decided to order this pepper and salt shaker set. Completely against all conventions we put salt in both. We now each have our own salt shaker - no more early morning arguments and a happier marriage. We also bought this to replace an unsightly Sainsbury-branded plastic salt shaker, therefore our kitchen equipment and breakfast table got an aesthetic uplift as well. The shakers are plain but somewhat stylish / elegant. In fact they match well with our upscale white Wedgwood plates and cups. The quality is good. And these glass shakers look very durable. The holes in the lid a little wide so you’ll have to measure it a bit but at the some time wan’t block easily. Good value for money simply.
