I’ll admit that I am not a nail person. I’ve never had a professional manicure or pedicure, never worn artificial nails, and own no nail polishes. But like every other human, I want to keep my nails healthy and in a decent shape. This glass nail file works great for me. It makes quick work of reshaping my nails in a pleasing form and easily smooths any snags or sharp areas of my fingernails. I’m honestly impressed at how easy it is to use. I’m not sure why only one side is for filing while the other side is smooth - are you supposed to use the smooth side somehow? It doesn’t really matter to me, as the rough side does the job very well. I’m not sure why people don’t like it, but maybe the variation in hardness and shaping of the individual nails makes a difference. I am very satisfied with its performance on my boring nails.

The media could not be loaded. Very quiet very sleek very pretty. Worked ok. Other basic filers work so much better. One side is super smooth just like glass which does nothing. Other side has grids but not as strong as a basic orange filer or other filers. Its beautiful and small and cute to carry if needed but i need something stronger for my nails to file them down. This is it after 1 use. I will wash since it says can be cleaned and reused
