The media could not be loaded.  I have a 2-inch hookup for a trailer on my Dodge Challenger, and I tow various things behind it. For the larger rental tows, I often can not see behind the car, and being all metal, I went looking for something portable and temporary without installation. I found this one with really good specs and a fantastic design, and I had to get one of these. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, it was very easy for me to set up and install. I don't know why I say install, the installation takes seconds, all I did was clip the display to the glass, plug the 12v socket, and then I turned on the camera, and then I just stuck it to the metal trailer door, and wow does it stick. That magnet is super powerful, and it takes two hands to remove it. Secondly, it works great. The pictures is bright and so well focused and have vibrant colors. The night time, night looks like daylight, bright as if someone turned the lights on, and I can see everything, and loving that. I also like how the display has that sun visor which, even with direct sunlight, the display shows up perfectly. It has a great distance. I did not even use the external antenna, and I am getting a great picture. Although I did use it on the back of a semi-sized truck once, and I did have to use the antenna, it still worked out great. I have also taken a lot of pumps on various vehicles, including my car with the carrier, and it has never failed off, and actually, it does not even move. Lastly, I like how portable this one is. I don't have to wire it to the car or truck, I can take it from one vehicle to another and is small enough that it is easily carried from one use to another. I also have to say the price was amazing. Purchasing on a deal was fantastic, and I would have done it again if I could. No cons, it worked out great for me, and I am very happy with the purchase.

I love these Magnetic Solar Cameras! No more running a bunch of wires all over your vehicle. The cameras are solid and the magnets are strong. Everything worked as expected. Good quality equipment...not flimsy and cheap. The picture quality is clear and bright. Everything was boxed nicely and arrived in good condition. I really like that the extra antennas are included and that there are two options for powering the monitor. I am using these cameras on a bus conversion as visual aids for driving and as a security system when in camp. This system is a game changer for anyone who doesn't want to run a bunch of wires and learn a complicated system. Set up and use are very intuitive.

Okay, full disclosure, I haven't had a chance to use it on the road yet.I will be using it driving 18 wheelers and I will update very soon with pics and possibly video.I unboxed everything and checked it all out and I gotta tell ya, this thing is great. The magnet is so strong, it came fully charged, everything is in tip top shape.The windshield mount is top notch for sure. It's the mechanical suction cup but with the super grippy, tacky, no residue gecko goo on it. The kind that you can rinse off and use again whenever you need to switch trucks or anything like that.Can't say I'll be using the remote much but I guess it's nice to have. The range should be more than adequate but I'm not at my truck to test it with all the aluminum and steel.The picture is terrific even in night mode.The manual is written fairly well. It's pretty clear about what's going on.Functionality is intuitive, so that's a plus. Main preset buttons are perfect and the indicators are exactly what you'd need and expect.Overall, before a road test, this thing is 5 full stars. Couldn't find a thing to complain about. No scratches or scuffs even.

I bought this backup camera for my camper and pickup. I had purchased another camera that didn't work well at all and decided to try this one instead. I liked the fact that no wiring was involved and that you could easily move the camera from vehicle to vehicle. The camper isn't a daily driver after all. The first thing I did was mount the extended antennas to the monitor and camera. I placed the camera on the back bumper of my 26' camper and pulled the truck up as if I was pulling it. The signal was very strong and no problem reaching the monitor. The back bumper of the camper is not a good spot for the camera as it is too small an area and too low. There is no other steel to attach to but I plan on attaching a steel plate to the roof. and setting the camera on it. And boy oh boy are those magnets strong! On steel you won't have to worry about it coming off at all Besides, the higher the camera the bigger the view. I did not hook up the camper and take it on the road so I can't review how it performs at highway speeds. Its dead winter here and I'm not pulling it out just to test that. I will amend my review if it has traveling issues. I haven't had it out on a pitch black night to see how well the night vision is but at dusk the camera picture was much brighter than what my eye was seeing. I expect it to be ok but obviously not as good as daytime. I wanted to attach the camera to the tailgate of my 2022 RAM 1500 when it wasn't needed for the camper but was unable to. I hadn't realized that my tailgate was aluminum to save weight. The magnet had no effect on it. Instead, I stuck it to top of the cab and it sits there nicely secure. The resulting high perch gives a great wide view to the rear. If I get hit from behind I'll have the evidence on the SD card that was included (64GB). And don't think these are the only uses! I bought a 110V to 12VDC Power Outlet for $20 so I can plug the monitor in to my house voltage and we can watch the wildlife outside and it can also act as a home security camera by putting it up on my steel roof. It has 4 little blue lights on the front to let you know it's on so it gives itself away but that's easily fixed by putting a little piece of black electrical tape over them lol. You can also use it that way at the campground. Remember, as long as the monitor is on it will be recording so you can either see intruders live or on the card. The card records in 1 minute segments so be sure to set the date/time on the monitor. Since no power source or wires are needed you can literally put it anywhere! The camera has a solar panel on top and is supposed to stay fully charged during the day and have enough power to carry it through the night. You can also charge it with the USB C adapter included. One more unexpected perk! They give you one free accessory when it arrives. You can pick from 4 accessories. I chose a 2nd camera so I can put them on top of the cab facing forward and rear facing so I'm covered both ways. Overall, I think this camera will fit my needs superbly. It's built well and the picture is very clear. Love love love the portability and wireless install. So far I'm very pleased.
