Excellent product, far better quality than the original plastic part, do take care when flexing it when fitting over the lugs on the switch assembly.Couldn’t get on with the trigger lock, it does work fine though - it’s included free so it’s not a problem if you don’t use it.

A high quality replacement part. There are various videos on YouTube detailing the repair procedure but after watching many I found the one by Tech4Baba to be the most useful. You'll need a long, thin, Philips screwdriver for small screws and a similar Torx 8 driver; they must be long. You'll also need some needle nose pliers to bend contacts and pull out the trigger unit. Take it slow, retain the screws in order (I taped them to A4 paper and wrote which went where) and don't be scared to bend the main power contacts with the pliers to fit through things. That said, it all worked for me and the new trigger is significant improvement on the plastic rubbish that Dyson used on my £700 machine. It had, of course, the standard fracture in the plastic. Appalling quality!

Perfect replacement for cheap plastic trigger in Dyson v10 vacuum. Perfectly fits in, with nice video showing how to install it.Plastic bonus trigger holder broke quite quickly but is still usable without small grey leaver.

Some serious logistics fitting this trigger but succeeded and now working again perfectly...

The installation difficulty is related to Dyson construction, and not a problem with this upgraded metal part which is clearly more sturdy than the original plastic trigger.

After watching a V11 repair video on YouTube (there are quite a few) I managed to fix my vacuum cleaner with this trigger. Its a really well made item and will not break through use, unlike the woefully cheap trigger which ships with the V11. What slowed me down when repairing this item, was that I only had a short T8 torx screwdriver. I had to buy a longer screwdrive to reach a torx screw deep in the trigger shaft.

Los aspiradores de Dyson estan muy bien diseñados. el interruptor de gatillo es la excepcion que confirma la regla. Esta mal diseñado , es muy debil y ademas inaccesible.Como tienes que desmontar todo el aparato para poder cambiar el interruptor , disfrutas del diseño del aspirador.Este repuesto de interruptor de gatillo, esta muy bien diseñado y es robusto. Lastima que los aspiradores no incorporen esta pieza de fabrica. ¡Muy recomendable!
