Emsa514978 Mambo Quick-Tip Vacuum jug, 1.5 litres, Grey

Very good jug. Keeps my coffee with milk hot for about 10 hours. 7am to 5pm. I make it in the morning while the baby is sleeping so I have hot coffee all day already made. The only complaint I have is that it leaks a little when pouring the last dregs so I take the lid off to avoid this.

I was fairly terrified to buy a product with no reviews yet, but this was the only thing I could find that EXACTLY fit what I wanted. 1.5L, black, no metal glass-lined vacuum jug with a press-and-pour lid. I decided to give it a whirl anyway since it was sold by Amazon themselves, and all good products have to start with no reviews somewhere right?I'm so glad I bought it. It's excellent! Not to mention the extremely reasonable price. After many hours, my tea was still scalding (and I mean burn-your-tastebuds-off scalding). After a little over 24 hours, I decided to drain the dregs, and the tea was still warm and drinkable. Exactly what I was after. The glass interior also means it doesn't make your dairy beverages like milk tea/coffee get that funny taste to them like they do when put into steel-interior thermoses. Absolutely chuffed with this product.If I did have to state my ONE little niggle with this particular jug, it's the lid - it's a screw top, and it is a little awkward to open because you can't really get a good grip on it unless you push using the push-button (which I don't like doing for fear of the button breaking). However, that's only nit-picking. I'll hopefully be getting many good years of use out of this thing.

A nice light vacuum jug, and easy to use. Keeps my tea very hot over a couple of hours.But today, less than 4 months after purchase, the glass interior exploded loudly. So the jug is now useless. Tea spread all over my desk, so it was almost a computer disaster as well.I am very disappointed. I need a new vacuum jug, but I won't be re-purchasing this brand. I didn't expect it to last for decades, but I did expect to get more than 4 months' use, and that it wouldn't explode!

This is the best vacuum jug that I have ever used. I have recently been using the ones with a stainless steel interior but none of them have kept liquids really hot for more than a couple of hours. This jug does what it says. Liquids are still hot after 12 hours even if the jug is not full. I suppose that as it has a glass interior there is a greater risk of breakage but ultimately that is down to the way it is used and stored. I find it very easy to pour and it doesn't splash like other jugs I have used. The top comes on and off very easily for me but I do have rock climber's fingers. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks but it seems well made and I don't foresee any future problems.

Everything is good except the purring nose

This jug is great and does the job.However! the jug arrived with a cracked lid. because I needed it urgently due to an ill family member needing it to keep their drink cool I am unable to send it back for a replacement.I would recommend it highly if it wasn't for the fact it was delivered broken.

Excellent thermos jug. Keeps coffee piping hot and fresh for hours. Very well made but still lightweight enough to be comfortable in use. Very easy fitting lid too.

Excellent. Really well made. Well worth the cost. Was going to get a cheaper metal one, but so glad I found this. Real glass. Lovely design. Works very well. I warm before adding the water straight from the kettle. Water is still hot enough for a good cup of tea after 10 hours.
