## Description

Transformed, Bella (Kristen Stewart) stands alongside Edward (Robert Pattinson) as a vampire. Experiencing phenomenal powers she thrives in her new life… but danger is never far away. Facing the wrath of the Volturi, led by the menacing Aro (Michael Sheen), can Edward, Bella and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) find the strength for one last stand to live the life they dream of? Over 3 hours of special features included. Special Features Twihards, rejoice! In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 , love for Bella and Edward is not only triumphant--it's a love story for the ages. The finale in the wildly successful Twilight teen vampire romance saga will satisfy every passionate fan, and yet is broad enough in its appeal that even those who think they aren't invested in the Bella-Edward story will be drawn in as well. Breaking Dawn, Part 2 is breathtakingly beautiful, with sumptuous cinematography showing off the stark beauty of the Pacific Northwest, especially in the dead of winter. And speaking of stark beauty, Bella (Kristen Stewart) is even more ravishing than ever. She awakens at the beginning of Breaking Dawn, Part 2 as a "newborn" vampire, having been "turned" as she was dying during the birth of her and Edward's (Robert Pattinson) half-vampire daughter. Vampire Bella flies through the forests barefoot in a royal-blue sheath, no hint of post-baby body weighing her or her new superpowers down. Bella and Edward waste no time making good use of the cozy new cottage in the woods and its enticing bedroom. "Why do we need a bedroom?" Bella asks Edward. "We're vampires, we don't sleep." Edward, adoration in his eyes, quickly shows her the answer. And their daughter? Well, little baby Renesmee starts out as a slightly creepy computer-generated animation creature, but as she grows--very quickly--into girlhood, she's played with winsome solemnity by young Mackenzie Foy. The girl is "imprinted" at birth to werewolf Jacob (hunky Taylor Lautner, often shirtless), who will from then on be bound to the wolf pack in a deep and special way. Yet Breaking Dawn, Part 2 carries true, operatic-style action as well as the love-triangle drama from earlier films. Because of the birth of the child vampire, the powerful Volturi in Rome are alerted, and, led by Aro (played by Michael Sheen, who appears to be having entirely too much fun), come to the Northwest for a shattering showdown over the fate of the Cullens. The confrontation, as directed by the deft Bill Condon, is intense and creatively choreographed (and fairly violent, given the film's PG-13 rating), with dark, wild music accompanying the Volturi's malevolent intentions and our heroes' fierce devotion to one another. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 demonstrates that love and family can surmount nearly every obstacle. And sometimes love can truly be forever. -- A.T. Hurley

Review: I want to hit replay! - I'll be the first one to say i have a love/hate relationship with the Twilight films & books. I definitely lean more towards love though ha! Don't get me wrong, i don't force this love for Twilight on anyone but i know its not for everyone! I just feel like it really pulls me in to their world, its a good way to escape. Ive said this before; I'm a romantic & i adore a good love story... Sometimes i don't even care about the cheese! :-) Anyway, on to the film! So i went to see it today with a friend- we picked today to avoid the hordes of teenage girls with Team Edward/Jacob jumpers on! I cant handle screaming teenagers! I wanted to take the film seriously! I mean its the last one ever... *sigh* I was really pleased with the film, i thought it was an excellent adaption of the book. Im glad Stephanie Meyer produced it because it kept the story true & didn't get sucked into the drama only. Don't get me wrong though there was plenty of drama! I felt Kristen Stewart played a newborn Vampire well. ( maybe being a vampire just suited her- with all the extreme emotions & such). Either way the film had a good level of action & purpose. I do also think it had a lovely feminine touch to it with some of the small details, like the credits at the end. Im trying really hard not to give any spoilers away & don't you worry, i wont. I feel very emotionally tied to the Cullen's & i think this film played on its loyal fans. There were definitely some shocking twists in the film but somehow it still stayed true to the books. I loved the ending & it just felt extremely satisfying and as soon as it finished i felt like i needed to watch it again & just thinking about it makes me want to relive it all over again! I know that these films & books aren't for everyone but for me, it was just awesome! It should also be mentioned that the soundtrack was also very good. Im definitely giving this 10 stars. Films like this truly rely on its fans becoming emotionally involved because yes its full of vampires & werewolves but more than that, its about fighting for love & the happy ending you deserve. ( I'm pretty certain most of us wish we were Bella by the end of it all!) Fave song: A thousand years- Christina Perri. Fave quote: 'now you know. No ones ever loved anyone as much as i love you.' Bella.
Review: For me - Fantastic film, could watch it every single day!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Breaking Dawn Part 2.
*by J***K on 8 June 2013*

Product: arrived safely and in good time. Having read the books, I was very interested to see what would be cut from the film as there is no way that everything could be included. Quite a bit of Bella's intial reactions to the transformation were lost and this was a wrench for me. However it was obvious this would have to be sacrificed to the running storyline. It was no surprise to see that most of the interaction with J Jenks was cut. I knew that the anti-climax ending of the book would not translate well in film-makers terms so was expecting something different... I will not spoil things but they did it brilliantly. I know that when I watched this in the cinema, the second time, I was thrilled by the reactions of the audience... the shock elements were so fantastic, characters' fates and the action sequences elicited actual physical reactions from the viewers! And it still does when watching on a smaller screen... although the bigger the better with this part of the film. My only negative... but to me quite a huge negative... was the music. Although the movie score itself was as high quality as previous films, the choice of accompanying tracks was extremely disappointing and seriously hampered the film's ability to capture every nuance. It was probably a disappointment made worse by the fact that the music choices in the previous films were so brilliant... different flavours but each film retaining a musical sense of self. This one doesn't and it really grates on me every time I watch. If I could turn off those songs, I could enjoy this much more, although the story doesn't disappoint at all.
