Equipment used in foundation work at my home damaged the bark on trees, as well as plowing through some mature roots. After doing a search, I decided on Treekote Tree Pruning Sealer Aerosol Spray, as it would be quick to apply, and other than cleaning up the brutal damage, putting this on I had to imagine was a soothing spray for the ailing trees. Time will tell how they do, but it seemed as if this was the correct treatment. Grateful to have found it.

I have used this and other products like it for about 4 years now. Some say it's useless, and I would disagree. When pruning, I use it on all the open cuts to protect them. I think this treatment helps the plant minimize the reasources it needs to repair/heal the wound.

My tree guy did a lot of work for us, but I was mad because they didn't seal these two large cuts from 2 big branches they cut down. Anyhow this was cheap enough, and worked no problem. Got up on a ladder and sprayed a ton on there. It sealed it up so nicely! Big thumbs up!
