Excellent Bed
Works great for all prints. Make sure your bed plate temp is adjusted correctly for your filament. I did bump each setting up 5° from my OEM glass bed. Easier to remove prints after they’ve finished.Just make sure the bed is leveled correctly and the nozzle doesn’t scrape the bed plate.

Great adhesion, you still need a little bit of glue with filaments that contract rapidly though
I've used this with both PETG and ABS, and the adhesion without anything on the bed is decent. However, filaments like these will still peel up a bit if you don't use anything to help adhesion, particularly if you don't use a brim or raft. It's pretty easy to remove prints after they're done though. I doubt it's worse than other similar products, and is definitely an upgrade over the stock build surface.

Unbeatable price to performance
Love these. PEI sheets are necessary imo for 3d printers. Effortless adhesion, print literally removes itself when the bed cools down. Awesome.

A great addition to any 3d printer with a 235x235mm bed size especially the Ender 3 series!
I have multiple 3d printers and most of them have different types of build plates, such as carborundum glass, PC (polycarbonate), PEX, LokBuild and PEI. I have a couple of other brands of spring steel flexible PEI build plates and this one compares very favorably to them in every way.For most of my prints, I do prefer to use a matte & textured PEI surface unless I am specifically looking for or needing a smooth bottom surface. I especially like and use a textured build plate for small parts that may need a little extra adhesion. PLA and ABS work great on a smooth or textured bed, but a smooth surface is not recommended for PETG and TPU, which do better with a textured surface. The overall build plate and the surface itself looks great, and I really like that the texture is not as overly aggressive with the amount of texture (think smaller grains or pebbles) as some of the other brands out there. Personally, I think the level of texture is perfect, not too much and not too little. The magnetic base uses a good adhesive and is like the magnetic base that came with most of my other PEI flexible build plates, so I give it high marks for the magnetic base.Like with any time you change the build plate, even if you are going from one magnetic build plate to another, you will want to make sure to check, and adjust if needed, your z-offset. There will be differences in the thickness of the build plates from one to another, and even if it is small, it can really affect your first layer adhesion. There was a 0.05mm difference in thickness between this plate and the one I took off. Depending on the amount of difference and the type of filament you are using it could cause your print to stick too well or not well enough. The prints stuck very well to the build plate and after it cooled down, they popped right off without having to remove the plate and flex it. I will be trying it with additional types of filaments such as PETG, ABS and TPU and I will update my review once I have done so. Overall, I really like the Comgrow PEI Magnetic Flexible Build Plate and highly recommend it!Printer/Settings:* Printer: Ender 3 V2* Nozzle temp: 210C* Bed temp: 60c* Bed type: Comgrow Textured PEI magnetic spring steel* Filament: Silk Magic Coextruded Blue/Green PLA (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B48LYSL9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)* Speed: 60mm/s* Nozzle: 0.4mm* Layer: 0.2mm* Extruder: TH3D Tough Extruder V2* Filament Dryer: Sunlu S2 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WRGLSR1?th=1)

Maybe 4.5 stars…there are some issues…but good product
5 stars with an asterisk. I considered 4 stars for procedure and packaging. There are instructions that are in clear English. The instructions list in the “Parts List” “Flexible Steel Plate”, “Magnetic Base”, and “Build Surface”. The “Flexible Steel Plate” then has a note under it that says “It is attached with the build surface.” I think they’re listing as a part in the parts list, the surface on my printer that this adhering to? That’s super confusing. Don’t list something in a parts list that you didn’t ship to me. There were only two parts that shipped to me - the base and the surface. (And they’re magnetically bonded so at first feels like only 1!)So…Ultimately it wasn’t clear to me whether I was adhering this on top of one of my glass build plates or to the underlying metal build plate. After some light internet research I figured it out (it’s the latter) and it makes me a bit nervous that I’m married to this and can’t really swap in the glass when I want it. (I suppose I could find larger clips to clip the glass to the top of the magnetic adhesive?)However, all that said, I am about 8 prints in with my Ender 3 v2 several with PLA and several with PETG and both adhere well and remove well which was not always the case before. Therefore, I’m very happy. I have had one PETG print that the skirt didn’t come off super easily, so I had to scrape it and I think I realize that that’s not a good way to do it with this material. Again, that’s an instructions issue - that sort of thing could be easily warned against and/or explained.A few pictures in the instructions wouldn’t hurt to add clarity.

Worked
Follow up. The customer service for this company is amazing. It did not allow the filament to stick for me. Took a lot of tape and or glue. Worked but not exactly what I was expecting.

For the price this is a decent upgrade to your printer
If I'm being honest, I would suggest buying a different offering for a bit more money.Don't get me wrong, there's nothing inherently wrong with this upgrade kit, and, for the money, it's pretty good. But for just a bit more you can find products that are just slightly better. For instance, the included magnetic surface is not as strong as a similar offering from Comgrow. And the fact that this product is textured PEI on one side but just bare steel on the other instead of having two usable sides leaves a bit to be desired.I printed a couple of PETG prints on this print surface after cleaning it thoroughly with dish soap and warm water and letting it air dry, and the adhesion was perfect. This spring steel sheet is a bit thinner than the similar print surface I was previously using so I had to tune my Z offset a bit but, once it was dialed in, the textured bottom of the print looked very nice and the print popped off after the bed cooled down.In a vacuum, this is a product I can definitely suggest. If this is the only thing that fits within your budget it is definitely worth it. I just think you can get a bit stronger of a magnet and a two-sided sheet for just a bit more, and those are worthwhile upgrades.
