As a chef over the years ive had alot of jackets but these are very good quality pockets in the arm fit plenty of items and very durable I prefer the black over the white but very good

As a professional chef, I've used many different brands of Chefs Coats. Nisbets, Whites and Chefs Works mainly. Portwest stands above them all for my personally. The Portwest Kent is my preferred style, as the shorter sleeves allow for a slightly cooler body temperature. The Mandarin collar, while intended for style, serves a dual purpose of catching sweat that may drip down your neck. The non shrinking and high durability fabric allows for some pretty aggressive wash cycles. While the product description states the Maximum wash to be 60C and not to bleach, typically I would wash 3 jackets at a time at 90C, bleaching if they start to gray and I have no issues to report. As the sizing usually runs slightly larger, if you're on the smaller end of your desired size I would recommend buying a size down, as the product may be too loose on you.

Smart looking jacket, fits well, breathes the same as any other chef jacket and fairly comfortable considering it’s cheaper and you’re in blistering heat 16 hours a day, would buy again for the price and quick delivery.
