My bottle broke open and most of it spilt out. I managed to some of the mineral powder back and like the product, it’s a brilliant idea. Just a heads up to people buying this as no instructions.. the bottom of the glass pot opens completely which I wasn’t expecting. Trying to figure out how it works was challenging. Be careful 😊😊😊 At first I thought it was just me having difficulty but other reviews showed the same issue. Unfortunately for me read the reviews after I’d opened the product.

I bought this to protect my scalp and extensive scar following craniotomy. It mattifies the shiny area. It's quite easy to apply unlike another that I have tried; where the product just gushes out in an uncontrollable fashion. This is a much better product. The powder is very pale and very fine so you don't see it. It does make my hair feel dry but I prefer that to the scalp sprays I've tried which make hair very oily, despite their claims not to do so! I good find and I would certainly buy again.

I have thin hair and the scalp of my parting can easily burn if I don’t use some kind of protection. I hate the sprays you can get as they leave my hair greasy. I’ve been using the Elizabeth Arden 50spf balm stick for several years. That is really good but you still have to be careful when applying as greasiness is still possible and the other downside is that it’s super expensive for a small amount. So when I saw this I figured I’d give it a try. ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER! This stuff if amazing. Because it’s a powder, there is zero greasiness. It almost acts as a dry shampoo if you rub it in so can actually improve greasiness! It’s slightly tinted. My hair is very fair, so this wasn’t a problem but I’m not sure if it would be more obvious on darker hair. It also smells gorgeous too. I just spent a week on a very hot beach holiday, only using this and zero burning! In fact, my friend and I both used this multiple times a day and we’ve barely made a dent in the amount. I imagine it’s probably great for using on your face too, I can’t sing the praises of this enough, it’s wonderful! My friend and I both declared it to be the best holiday ‘upgrade’ of the year. I’ll definitely be buying this again and again and will recommend it to everyone!

I bought this as I'm not in the sun often, and don't get on with most sunscreens (they're greasy, and the chemicals irritate my sensitive skin as well as being bad for the environment), but I wanted a 100% mineral sunscreen which I'd be happy to use regularly to prevent photoaging. As many other reviewers have pointed out, the brush applicator packaging is pretty awful. I think they were going for portability and convenience, as well as possibly intending it for use on the scalp rather than the skin. For the facial skin it's not easy to use at all. The amount of product dispensed is unreliable, ranging from almost nothing to way too much. It will keep dispensing when closed so it builds up in the cap as well, making a big mess and wasting product if you're not careful when you open it. The little ring around the brush also doesn't stay up or down when you need it to, which is annoying. It's very difficult to see where you've applied it, and it could definitely use clearer instructions for how much you're supposed to use - it just says "apply generously" which is quite unhelpful. After a couple of frustrating tries, I ended up unscrewing the bottom of the tube to take out the powder and put it in a compact, and it works much better that way. Once I'd done that, as well as adjusting the colour slightly to look more natural, it was easily 5 stars. They definitely should sell it as a pressed powder instead (but in the meantime you can DIY it by mixing it with some 90% alcohol to make a thick liquid, and putting this into an empty container, wait for it to fully dry and voila, then you can apply it with a powder puff or makeup brush). Can't fault the powder itself, except for the very strong smell. It's a nice coconut tropical like scent, but very overpowering when you first apply the product. Personally I think it would be much more pleasant to use if the scent were about half as strong, or even less so. The colour is a neutral matte tone which would suit pale skin best - on darker skin it probably wouldn't look good. I found it made my face look very flat and yellowish, so I mixed in a little of my regular face powder (sacrificing some SPF in the process) which improved things. Overall, a different packaging format and a more skin like finish would improve things tremendously; It loses one star for the packaging and one for how it looks on the skin. This basic formula could easily be adapted to a makeup-like format, with a better shade range and more natural skin finish, and I'd love to see that from Hawaiian Tropic in the future.

This is perfect for the scalp- prevents burnt parting. Takes a bit of getting out initially but is small enough to carry around in a bumbag. I’ll definitely reorder this.

I hate writing bad reviews, but this thing was so tricky to use and I ended up with powder everywhere. It went in the bin. Big no from me.

This is a really good mineral sun powder. I’ve also found this really good to use on my scalp (hair parting) which always burns. It’s so much better as the sprays for the scalp leaves my hair looking greasy this rubs in like a dry shampoo.

Great for matte looking, on the go protection. A bit tricky to use though.

Do use it, just shake it a bit. The powder will come to the brush :) Offers light cover. I like to wear it after applying sunscreen, to remove the oily feel.

Erogatore comodissimo, avendo con sé già il pennello integrato è comodo da portare e applicare ovunque ti trovi, senza la necessità di uno specchio! Avendo colorazione nude, si adatta al proprio incarnato non essendo bianca come le solite.

Ce produit est très pratique : • Pour les femmes : Lors des sorties au soleil avec les cheveux détachés ou attachés sur la raie qui expose le cuir chevelu au soleil et qui risque d’attraper un coup de soleil. • Pour les hommes : Comme pour les femmes avec la raie du cuir chevelu ou lorsque les cheveux sont dégarnis. Les coups de soleil sont récurent. Gros avantage, et d’ailleurs le but de ce produit : le fait que ce soit de la poudre, cela ne graisse absolument pas le cuir chevelu, invisible après application peut importe la couleur des cheveux. Très simple d’utilisation : la poudre est directement incrustée dans le pinceau donc on en mets pas partout. Et petit et transportable partout. Petit bémol à noter : le fait que ce soit SPF 30 alors que la tête c’est vraiment l’endroit où le soleil tape le plus.. un SPF 50 aurait été parfait mais c’est déjà un bon début pour un produit qui n’existe pas en grande surface. Bravo pour la conception et l’idée !
