I wrote a review om a very similar bento box a while ago (cannot find the listing to delete it) that was upset it didn't fit a sandwich. Then, I realized I can make a half a sandwich then CUT the half in half.So, no, it doesn't fit a full sandwich, but it fits a lot of other items! This is SO EASY to open and clean.It is the perfect size.

Nice square lunch box, cute unicorn design on the top. I like that the inside comes out to run through the dishwasher. The size of the five sections is fine for younger elementary if you supplement it with something outside of the box like a piece of fruit. The latch doesn't snap into place, just lowers, so time will tell if it continues to work. Will update if needed!

Definitely not leak proof. My daughter took chips and salsa to school and it all became one mashed up mess. She had nothing to eat for lunch as everything was covered in salsa and watermelon juice…

So far, it hasn’t leaked and it was pretty easy to clean. My daughter loves the design and she loves that the insert is removable. She also thinks it’s so easy to open and close, which apparently her other one isn’t. I took off a star because I think for the size, it’s a little overpriced. Otherwise, it’s a good box. I will update with any other info after using it longer.

I appreciate the design choices offered for this particular bento box. It's a smaller, hard plastic bento with removable tray. The whole unit fits easily in a standard kids lunchbag (see my photos). It has one clip, super easy to use. The lid is an icepack (thin) too! I read the tray (only) is microwaveable, personally I would not microwave but, that's an option. The tray has four compartments, one larger, two medium and one dip sized in the middle. I have yet to test if it's leak proof but, it does secure very well. It should be pretty easy to wash, I do feel like this is a hand wash only type of thing. I do have concerns for if the tray were to break, that it would just be a large sandwich box. It does seem pretty durable hard plastic but, I would suggest using a zippered lunch bag with it.

This lunch box was great for my kid to bring to school. The other ones we had were wider than they were tall but this one is taller than it is wide. It was really easy to clean and was very sturdy. No leaks or any issues. My child loved the mermaid design on the top and made her day to have a new lunch box to bring to school and show her friends. This one comes in different designs and worked great for what we needed.

This is a nice little lunch /snack container for toddlers. It's compact but hold just enough food to satisfy a toddler. Has an inside tray with compartments that seals tight. Inside of the lid has rubber seals to match the design of the internal tray to prevent food from mixing if it has sauce or is liquid.Cute little design with an easy latch lock for your toddler to open and lock closed.
