DOESNT WORK
I'm in the army and ordered this for my brothers birthday in november and it sat in a box until I could see him and now he opened it yesterday and set it up but it doesn't work. It makes noise but won't print or heat up or move at all.

3d pen with stand
This printer does not produce high quality prints, this printer does not print fast, this printer cut ALOT of corners to hit this price, sacrifices were made in EVERY aspect. If you only have $150 for a printer and filament, save up for something else. This needs assembled, and even then it sucks. It just plain sucks. There's other options at better price points. If this was $90, I'd say go for it, but at $130 the price gap to something better is worth waiting and saving for the select mini v2 from monoprice being a much better option, even used.

Yes it works just fine
I love my 101 Hero and it works just fine. Whilst it isn’t as fast as an $2000+ commercial 3D printer, if you don’t abuse it, it will work just fine. It is a wonderful unit to use to learn and print affordably.Would I buy one again? YES! In fact, I own two of them.

Hard to use, poor instructions
I would not recommend this product to anyone. I have spent 3 days just trying to figure out the downloading of the 3d models and how to unzip them and save them over to the SD card and then getting the SD card to work with the Printer. Huge waste of time.

Don't waste your money.
This is the most anticlimactic purchase I have made in a very long time. Came with zero assembly instructions, missing three platform screws, and an arm screw. I emailed the manufacturer almost a week ago and still have not gotten a response. The return process has already been started.

Does not support ABS filament
I purchased this printer and a 2lb spool of grey ABS filament, after much tweaking and RESEARCH i found out that ABS filament requires a min temp of 230 degrees celsius, the 101Hero can only go up to 205 degrees celsius, this is to low for ABS and clogs your exctruder. it is nearly impossible to cleam out as you have to take the thing apart and use a blow torch to heat the head up to the required temp to remove the ABS, and putting it back together is a pain and the... Do not believe the advertisement about what it can print, only use PLA Filament, the fix cost me an extra $50 for a new extruder and PLA filament and I am not happy about that. false advertisement in my opinion
