Rug came quickly. The colors matched the photo/description. The quality seems fantastic, and surprisingly more plush underfoot than expected. A rug pad seems completely optional.Buuuuuut ..... 3 days later and we still have to keep the windows open to air the rug out.We left it out in the sun for about an hour when it first came. Rug flattened out quickly and we could tell there was a smell to it, but it didn't seem too strong outside.After we brought it in the smell got overwhelming.So, three days later and it's improved quite a bit, but I still have the windows open with an air-purifier running and a fan blowing on it. We haven't busted out the baking soda yet, but I have a feeling it's going to take a while for the smell to dissipate completely.Update: After 5 days the smell subsided to noticable but not extreme.

It’s incredible! Beautiful muted tones and a thick wool material for a bedroom is perfect. Definitely recommend! And don’t be afraid with wool rugs, this one barely sheds. I have another one I got for cheap and its awful. But this is much better quality!

Well made, has beautiful colors and detail. Looks almost identical to a much pricier one!! You won’t regret your order.

The media could not be loaded.  I am only giving 4 stars because the rug came with some minor stains on the edge of the rug and a little hole as well. It would take far more effort to return, then to hide underneath my couch. However, I am a little disappointed.

This rug is absolutely beautiful. I bought the Ivory-Beige color 7' square rug. It's made so well, beautiful soft ivory/beige tones with soft bit of tan and gray in it. This is a quality rug for a wonderful price. If your looking for a wool, handmade loop rug, soft neutral colors and made with quality, this is it! It also was shipped a week ahead of their predicted time. Very pleased!

I thought it was stunning but definitely could not afford that price tag. Thank god for Amazon. THE SAME EXACT RUG FOR LESS THAN $500?? Sign me up! I bought the 9x12, and WOW. The rug is absolutely gorgeous. It’s got a moderate thickness and nice weight to it. The colors are beautiful and neutral so they should compliment many home styles & colors. The texture is amazing too, it looks very detailed and ornate. We are over the moon with this purchase and will be ordering more rugs from SAFAVIEH in the future! Thank you, thank you!
