I use the pull up bar in my dorm room. It comes with 2 small plastic pieces and 2 screws. These pieces are intended to be used to hold it firmly in place in your door frame. So you technically need to screw holes into your door frame to use this product. That being said, I did not use the plastic pieces and the screw and the pull up bar has stayed firmly in place every time I have used it.The hand grips are great and allow the user to easily grip and use the bar. The only downside is that the bar itself is that it has a rather large circumference (once the bar and hand grips are added together). This makes it more difficult for people with smaller hands to grip the bar and use it.

I wish it was a bit lighter, because I travel a lot, but that's a minor gripe. This thing is good. I'm so god damned pumped right now thanks to all the pull ups I'm doing.

DO NOT buy.This thing is extremely dangerous, it always falls off. One day my 16 year old boy was engaging in physical activity with the bar, until the bar fell off the wall due to its poor design and he landed on his head and injured his shoulder and back. He does NOT weigh over 100KG, so I advise all people to stray away from buying this product.Also, I searched up pull up bar that didn't need to be installed with screws, but this does.

Searched for pull ups without screws. It came up, but when i received it, found out that it couldn't be installed with the screws.
