Stainless Steel Military Dog Tag Chain Set, 27 inch and 4.5 inch Ball Chains, 2.4mm #3 Size Chain

It was a little difficult to get the ball in the connector, but with a small pair of wire clippers I was able to do it. I like the fact that it is a good quality stainless steel. It is 27 inches long, which is very easy to go over my head. I’m very happy with this chain!

the thickness is standard dog chain quality, but a hair on the light side. it is likely durable, but we just got it and have not properly tested it yet, but folks like me who just wear a chain and not swing from the rafters or do silliness with it, it will probably last a lifetime.

I love this chain! I'm going to buy another. The 27 inch length makes it so you can put it on and take off without taking it apart, which is very convenient. The color is not shiny, more like a dull gray, which I like. Shiny stainless steel can reflect light. The clasp was easy to close on my chain, so no problem there. The best thing about this chain is that it doesn't pull my chest hairs. It is so irritating when chest hairs get pulled out at random times and then the hair gets stuck on the chain and feels like a tiny thorn against your skin. I generally don't like wearing jewelry, but sometimes I want to wear a pendant like a cross, or a neck knife, and the necklace should be breakaway. So, this chain is perfect.

These are good they're pretty sturdy the only downfall is if you got a hairy chest and you tuck these bad boys in they're gonna be losing a bunch of your hair on that chest but other than that they're pretty good

This year I am going on a Military History Across Europe trip in Honor of my Father during his U.S. Military Combat Service of the ETO during WW II. I brought the U.S. Dog-tag Chain, so I can wear one- half of my Father's Dog-Tag during this trip. The other half with the original chain is buried with my Father when we laid him to rest in 2012. The chain and Dog-Tag will be with me as a "piece of my Father and his military service some 80 years ago. This new chain is strong and comparable to the Original that I remember. The best part of this is it is the same manufacturer that made the original chains for the U.S. military since the late 1930's, a true testament to quality and reliability for over 80 years.
