Great cutting board, but not for whiny people with first world problems
Wow, the reviews of this product make me weep at today's first-word problems. It doesn't meet my 100% black requirement! It's a marbled design as can be clearly seen, very nice appearance but not black through and through. It makes some noise! If you have no cutting skill and you slam your knife down flat, yes it makes a bit of a snap. But if you cut like normal people, at a slight angle or rounded motion, no sound at all. Great product, but not for whiny folks.

Cutting board
So easy to clean and not worried about left over food residue like wood cutting boards or plastic

Beautiful Appearance and Easy to Clean!
OK, the boards are NOT glossy black, but a rather forest green color. Other than that small detail, the boards work well in a busy kitchen. In a subdued light, you will not notice the color difference. Beautiful and easy to clean.

Not black in color as advertised.
This product is green and not black as advertised. It might look black in the picture I've taken due to camera color inconsistencies but its not black in real. As you might already be aware glass makes a lot of noise but that's personal preference. However the cutting board is also smooth and if its wet (which it will be if you're cutting veggies), the veggies just slide off there's no grip because the surface isn't rough. Overall, be aware of the color, and if you're comfortable with the noise and slipperiness that comes with smooth glass go for it. I would not recommend it personally.

No molds or microplastics
They say (who is they? must be the conspiracy theorists on the internet) that wood cutting boards can have particles stuck in them that mold and cause all sorts of problems.Plastic? Those things will leave microplastics all over your food (I type this as I quench my thirst with a nice bottle of water full of microplastics). So we opted for the best thing we could think of - tempered glass. So far? So good. It hasn't broken, it looks great, and I'm not consuming some weird foreign objects... at least as far as I know. Surely the silica in the glass is good for you?? right?Good experience with this cutting board - I hope I never have to buy another again. Ever. seriously.

Tempered Glass with decorative print attached
I just received this product and have not had a chance to use it yet. Once I received it I was wondering if I should hand wash it or dishwasher clean it. I decided to hand wash it because it appears that the product consists of tempered glass with a decorative print attached to it. Another reviewer stated that after two dishwasher cleaning air space developed between the print and glass. As a test I took a knife and gently rubbed it on the glass top surface and the surface did not scratch.I am okay with this product design - my research suggests that nonporous tempered glass surfaces is one of the best surfaces used for food preparation (ie, vegetable chopping and raw meat cutting). However, time will tell how durable it is; but I think it will be okay.
