A good replacement for the original trim. A little tricky to install
I bought this item to replace the missing trim on our 2012 Honda CRV. I was having a little trouble installing until I found a YouTube Video that explained that several of the attachments aren't clips but screws that come in from the back side. So I had to loosen up the entire grill to access the back so I could unscrew the broken clips from the original trim. I was then able to use the screws to attach the new trim. Seems to be holding up well.

Doesn't go all the way in as I had hoped
Doesn't go all the way in as I had hoped. It is about 1-5 centimeters off because the inside lower hook is made a little bit too long.

Does not actually fit. DO NOT BUY.
2012 Honda CRV. Took the entire grille off and went to put the piece in but it would not fit. The clips were too small and went through all that hassle for nothing. Going to just bite the bullet and pay $80 at Honda for the OEM piece. Please don’t buy this as you’ll end up in the same outcome.

This is not a DIY installation!
This is a good replacement but don't appear to be OEM. It is not a easy fix to replace and not a first time DIY job. I have worked on a lot of vehicles and have 25 years experience with vehicles. The reason for the replace problems it the complete grill has to be removed to get to 3 screws that are next to impossible to get too. 2 of them are for holding the two ends of the of the grill and completely covered up one in the middle grill to remove. the one in the the middle probably could be removed. the grill is attached to the body with 8 clips, 4 on the bottom and 2 on each side. the bottom is clip are not to hard to get to but the 2 on each side are not easy because the the aare hard to get too. I haven't finished the the job yet. I plan to get a good body man to help are carry it to a body shop to install it. the part it self of course is plastic and would break ease if much force was applied , I feel the curve in the part can be bent more than it is. I don't have a problem with the manufacturer of the part, I would guess it would be the same if it was OEM. The price is about 1/3 the price from Honda. But again buyers be aware don't think for one minute that this a plug and play job. I will upload more info later!
