My cat is a lot older and picks through food. She has trouble eating hard food so I give her these and she loves them. She actually eats the whole thing and cry’s if she wants more. She never leaves any behind which makes me happy because I seen her leave plenty behind of other brands. They are more expensive but worth it!

Our cats are prone to eating something one day and turning their nose up at the same food the next time that I give it to them. When I give this Fancy Feast food to them, they lick their dishes clean. The only reason for a 4 rating instead of a 5 is the cost. They are quite expensive for what you get. Amazon offered discounts on each flavor when I purchased so it was more affordable then.

The food has a soft, smooth texture that may appeal to some cats, and the portion sizes are appropriate for one feeding, reducing waste. Also, the “sauce” on top does seem to be particularly appealing (at least it is to my two cats) — although they were more mixed in their evaluation of the pate. I found getting the food out of the container frustrating. I tried squeezing the sides, warming the container in my hand before turning it over, and tapping it on the side of the food bowl (don’t). Ultimately it was best to use a spoon — using a cooking utensil used to safely loosen baked goods like cakes and breads from their pans likely would have been the truly best option, but I wasn’t going there. So if you’re set on achieving the look promised in the carton photography, maybe wait until they work the kinks out on the packaging (a button on top to loosen the food, grippy sides for squeezing, tiny baking-type utensils designed for cat food ;) ). For me this just wasn’t a great option as my cats didn’t like the food well enough to overcome my frustration with the packaging.

My cat is happy, so I am happy too.

This food gave my cats such diarrhea that I was cleaning it up off the floor. 2 days of diarrhea then when their poop was firm the poop was flat and shaped like a leaf. I was seriously going to take them to the vet but the next day their poop was returning to normal. This stuff should be taken off the market. Gave it 1 star because I had to and I will say, the Girls loved it.
