So far, so good
I bought this as a cost-effective alternative to Lactaid. So far, it's been working out for me. I take one pill (as instructed on the label) before consuming dairy. Note, most of the time I wait a couple minutes after taking the pill before consuming dairy. So far, it's worked out well for me.

Do your research please. Not every body can handle digestion with only the recommended serving size.
They work just fine. If you do even a hint of research you'd know that some people need far more pills and some are fine with just the suggested serving. Literal forums full of people talking exactly about that out there. I've used all of the extra strength (9000 FCC) and the normal strength. If they're not working, you're going to need more pills. I have to take approximately 8 for meals with less dairy content and upwards of 15 for those heavier in dairy. You know your body best and if the suggested 2 isn't working, clearly you're going to need more(test it out with more; I recommend 4 if two isn't working, then go from there.) Either way, they work great; just about as great as anything I get in the stores. I do really enjoy the price for the amount of pills since my body requires far more to digest even the smallest amounts of dairy. Good luck.

Great Product
I love this product. It works instantly. A great value for the money. Easy to swallow as the tablets are small.

They work
These pills work for me, but I have to take not 1, but 2 pills to be effective. So. though I will buy them again, the product is not as cost effective as I had hoped.

These are real and do the job
Half (even less?) of the price of the leading brand. Pop 'em before you dig into dairy. Zero discomfort.

Not a good generic lactase
This brand did not work. My daughter and I are lactose intolerant. I have a higher level of intolerance than my daughter, but neither of us can eat dairy without suffering digestive consequences. We have tried various lactase enzyme supplements, including the name brand option, as well as the Kirkland brand. I decided to try this brand, since the normal generic I had been buying was out of stock. I ate a slice of mousse pie one day with no issues, using the last of my other brand of lactase. The next day, I had another piece of the pie, but used this brand of lactase. I took 2 pills, noting that they were quite thick, and difficult to swallow. Two pills should be 18,000 units, which is normally an effective dose for my system. I woke in the middle of the night with severe indigestion, and spent almost the entire morning suffering side effects I would rather not mention. Seriously, the only time I have had such a reaction to dairy is when I forget to take lactase. Maybe this was a bad batch, but I threw the rest of the bottle away, and went back to a brand I had tried in the past. And yes, I ate another piece of that pie two days later with another brand of lactase and no problems! My daughter also had some uncomfortable digestive issues after using this brand, but fortunately she had a smaller dose of dairy than I did. She, too took a lactase dose of this brand, and had eaten a dinner she’s had many times before with no issues. She was surprised that she had digestive issues, since lactase enzymes are quite effective for her.Since both of us had reactions as if we had eaten dairy without lactase, I wouldn’t recommend this brand at all.
