The fact that it has a lot of the same images, does not bother me. Every design is different! Plus it's ALL hippos! My soon to be 10 year old daughter has been obsessed with hippos since she was 3 years old! I have a horrible time finding hippo stuff, when I do find it, it's usually really exspensive. Like the shirts, sorry but I'm not paying $20 and up for a simple hippo shirt for a child. It's crazy how much hippo things cost. I was very excited when I found this for her! We just got it today, which shipped so fast! She's very pleased with it! If you or someone you know loves hippos, get this for them!!! The pages are one sides to prevent bleed through, plus we can hang the pictures & not waste a picture on the back. They're fairly thick pages as well!

The outlines and sizes were pretty much the same from page to page. Would be nice to have 2 smaller hippos on page or other variations. The big problem: Pages were not scored, so no easy way to remove. For my personal preference, these are negatives, but you might not want to remove pages and like to work on the same looking hippo page after page. Remember: This is the black night edition, which means the images are on a black background.

Bought as a gift. Cute, but was a bit disappointed because there were only about 2 different hippo shapes in the book. Each shape had a different design to fill in and color, but it was not what I was expecting. So it was something like 48 pages of the same hippo pose over and over with maybe 1 other pose at the beginning of the book. Will not be ordering again. Cute idea, but needs a bit more variety.

There were hippos in the book also frogs. Sent to bff she liked the coloring book.

This was a gift, and the recipient loved it. The day after she received it, my sister completed a page and loved all the detail and the subject. The black background is especially nice.

Wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. I dislike that the designer used the same shapes in each picture, just changed where they put the shapes on the hippos. I love hippos and will be looking for another colouring book to use instead.

Nice designs. Can’t wait to give to my daughter as a gift.
