Review: Superior Product - I purchased a boom with two nozzles that fit on the back of my Gator. I have about 3 acres to spray and I wanted to have something to get it done. Well, the boom and nozzles never worked right despite me messing around with height on the gator and pump pressure. It just never worked well. I saw this nozzle that would fit on my wand and thought what the heck - give it a try. I was totally blown away on how well this works. I can secure the wand on the gator tail gate, turn the wand on (with this nozzle attached) and spray 16 feet wide at 30psi. This nozzle is the best and so much less expensive than the boom contraption I tried. Make sure your pump meets the output requirements to run this. I can't recall what that is but I did look my pump up and it surpassed what was needed. You will also need a way to keep the wand ON while you spray. Mine has a lock on it that allows it to run with anyone holding it. I use the pump on/off switch to stop the spray while moving to other areas or stopping.

**Q: I have a 1.35gpm / 116psi pump.  is this pressure going to be too high?  does anyone know the top end cut off for the pressure?**
A: You won't reach 116psi if you're max flow is 1.35gpm. The hole on the nozzle is to large for your pump to build pressure behind it. You might see 25psi.

**Q: what is the thread size ?**
A: Vernon Kase Jr. is right. It is 1/4 inch male pipe and comes with an adapter that makes it 3/8 inch female pipe. I promise to you there is no 1/2 inch pipe thread on this.

**Q: 1. how high from ground should it be mounted? 2. traveling at 5 mph w/ 2.2 gpm 60 psi how fast will it spray a gallon? 3. what is the allen on front**
A: 1. I usually see these mounted at about the height of a tail gate/like on the back of an ATV.  2.  You'd have to measure out how much was being sprayed at how many feet you traveled.  One way to do that is to measure 100 feet and then travel that far at 5 mph.   Then, see how many seconds it takes you to get there.  Then, run your nozzle for that amount of seconds, and capture the liquid in something.  Then, measure that.  The allen on front is to adjust your spray pattern.

**Q: How high does it have to be off the ground to get 12-14 ft width?**
A: Mine is mounted at 33" and I am getting 16ft, so I would guess at about  24"

I’ve previously owned an expensive boom sprayer for my atv that was extremely difficult to maintain and was basically trash. I’d seen a couple videos on YouTube of these and was honestly a little skeptical of what I was seeing. I bought one anyway and it’s amazing! I get a spray stream of 16-20 inches with a 1 gpm pump. A 2 gpm pump minimum is what’s recommended. This thing is awesome! It makes spraying so much easier.
