York Nordic Short (5'3" to 5'7" Tall) Ultralight Folding Walking Poles - Travel Ready - 15 in collapsed - with Rubber Feet, Baskets, and Bag

First off - I have not yet used the product. I originally ordered two pairs of walking poles. Neither were short enough for me. I researched online and found this set. I watched the video on this product which showed me what position my arms need to be in. I then ordered this set along with another sets for short people. The other I order was longer and heavier.Pro - These seem to be perfect! The are easy to open, very light weight, and compact. I can put them in one of the spaces where I keep my water bottle in my backpack.Con - I don't love the grip as it bothers my wrist. I will see how that goes as I use them. I purchased the rubber grips as I understand these will be better if it rains. However, it is possible the other one they offer will put my hands at a different angle. I am going to order them for my daughter and compare as I am concerned about the impact on my wrist. One of the first sets that I ordered that were too tall had a perfect grip. I did not like the grip on the taller set for short people that I ordered either.

They are ultralight, and they are for average height woman. They fold over vs pull out which I prefer. Did I say they were ultralight?! They are so easy to carry when not using. I only hike with one pole so when it's not needed I latch it to my backpack. I am very happy with my birthday present!

As a petite 5’ tall woman, I was drawn to purchasing poles made especially for petite humans and compact enough to fit in my carry on luggage. I took them on a recent trip. Loved how small they pack and fit in my carry on. I had a small issue with one of the poles so contacted the company through Amazon and was able to connect with the company owner Lauren. She responded promptly and resolved my issue quickly. I would definitely purchase these trekking poles again.

Got these and a set of these and a set of Leki sticks. My wife prefers these and they are less than half the price.

I am amazed at the workout that I am getting using the Nordic poles. I felt I had a much more worthwhile walk doing the same distance that I normally cover with the Nordic poles. I am looking forward to seeing the results of staying with Nordic walking .

Far better to have balanced use of body for movement than a cane to one side. Thanks for making my size! Also when intentionally pushed against, these help to evenly straighten posture. Owner actually took my phone call and welcomed me to call back. Fantastic product. The folding and reopening is simple and when done properly, keeps poles set to height. These ought to replace canes. The grip is well thought out. I discovered, when I need to wait, the angle at top if grip is just right for comfort. Straps keep pole available as soon as my hand is free again. There's a psychological benefit for anyone who has been active before need of medical support. And, when I can return to hiking, I'll have the perfect poles!

seem to be good, adjusted well to short height (I am 5" /2" ) but have not used yet on trail.lock seems to work well for height adjustment easy to assemble

I have a slipped disc & when I use my nortic is does not hurt at all

They are so light weight. The bag fit in my suitcase and my backpack, Easy and fast to open and close. Sturdy and strong. Couldnt have wanted better

Love my new trekking poles. Sturdy, light, easy to use. Just remember that this type of pole will come apart if it sinks into soft ground. It has happened to me several times; doesn't break, but does separate. But, perfect to fit into my backpack & for travel.
