Chalkboards UK Handheld Table Top Blackboard with Plinth, Wood, Black, 31 x 21 x 4 cm

Used my cricut cutting machine to divide up this board. The permanent vinyl sticks well to the surface. I've used a chalk pen to write on it - easy to write on, damp cloth seems to wipe it off easily, with no trace. I haven't yet had to wipe it off after a week, so will update if this changes my assessment. Board is stuck into the base, the two don't come apart. Base is heavy enough so the board won't topple easily. Carry handle is really useful, so you don't have to touch the writing when picking it up. This is A4, which is a good size for a family menu board. Seems good quality and I'm happy with the price. I'd have liked to have had a option for a different coloured base, instead of the dark wood stain, but am pleased with how it looks still.

This was a pretty nice product and I'm happy with my purchase, but I do have a slight DIY suggestion for any other buyers: the board is perhaps a little too smooth and I found that the chalk I was using didn't adhere amazingly (granted - I was using cheap chalk) so I sandpapered it down with some harsh sandpaper to get it to adhere better and give a more punctuating colour. That does give the board a more scratchy texture though; I'm personally fine with it but that could be a consideration for some. :)

Love this and use it every day at home and it works for the family. Easy to use and clean. Highly recommend.

Chalk or white pens don't seem to write very well on this surface. White pen takes quite a bit of getting off. Good size and fairly sturdy though.
