I was looking at a few of these fire extinguisher holders for my SxS. After comparing several I chose this one based on price and I liked the flag on the release handle. In my haste, what I neglected to realize was it was cheaper because it's not metal. Not the sellers fault, there was no misrepresentation, it was all on me. I decided to keep it anyway, and so far it seems pretty sturdy.

Bought 2 of them. They both broke off over the weekend. Lost one of my extinguishers. Don't buy!

I got this quick release to hold a small fire extinguisher in my pickup camper. This is well built. It works pretty well as a quick release, pulling the latching red plunger releases the top and an up and out pull on the extinguisher complete the deploy. The bracket on the extinguisher fits fairly tightly into the mounting bracket, so there is a little friction there which eliminates any rattle in an RV, but does mean there is slight friction when removing the extinguisher for use. I used screw mounting to my wall, and the steel clamps provided should hold any standard, small, vehicle extinguisher.

Bought this to hold boat fire extinguisher on leaning post seat tubing. Used 200lb zip ties to mount. Cut a small strip of Gorilla grip drawer liner material in between the pieces so nothing slips.Works great!

Very nice product easy to install and use. Not recommending for Marine use, hardware is not stainless steel and will not hold up in a marine (saltwater) environment. I substituted large zip ties for my application which have been holding up. I could have upgraded the clamps to quality marine grade clamps that fit my application. The heavy duty zip ties are working well and there is no issue with dissimilar metals, no additional ground required.

Both fire extinguishers leaked all over place very very unhappy 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
