I got this because I have a portable monitor with a mini hdmi cable but it sticks out the side and is ugly. This adapter works great, it’s exactly what I expected. And thankfully it came with both directions because I didn’t even think about it until it came. They fit well in the port and with any hdmi cable. I’ve never had any problems with it falling out or making the picture look funny. I’m not sure what problems I could’ve had… but it works exactly as if I was using the original mini HDMI, it’s just more organized because the cord is more out of view. The only annoying thing is there is a little light on it to know that’s it’s plugged in and working. I guess it’s necessary to know that’s it’s on, but I just put a sticker over it because the monitor is in my bedroom and it’s kind of bright while I’m trying to sleep.

Works as advertised. Converts 4K 60hz signal without trouble. You receive 2 different versions in the package. One for each Mini HDMI orientation. This allows you to angle out towards the front or back (or left/right) depending on your need. I didn't realize there was an LED on the adapter. Really no need for it, but I guess it's better than a big AREME logo being stamped on there. The led hole is recessed, so sharpie won't cover it. You'll need a small piece of tape or putty. It's really not a big deal unless it's facing you like my case with a portable monitor.

Works well and was perfect for my use case. Only one minor annoyance: It has an extremely bright white light on the top edge when it's plugged in. In most use cases, this wouldn't be an issue, but in mine it was shining right in my eyes! Definitely a first world problem that was easily solved.

Works perfectly. I needed a 90 degree connector for a 15 inch display next to my monitor. I didn't want the HDMI sticking out sideways and this makes it much cleaner. No issue unplugging and it's worked every time. i didn't need the second one as it faced the wrong directly for my needs but one day it may come in handy.

Pretty much the only item like it that I found. I don't like the HDMI cable sticking straight out of the side of my portable monitors, so I bought this to make the cable point backwards to reduce the sideways footprint. Also bought a pair of USB-C right-angle adapter (for the power cable). Looks great, and does as expected. But... there's two adapters that come in this set, one which makes the cable point backwards (great!) and one that makes the cable point forward (blah!). Presumably this serves use cases where the mini HDMI connector is in different orientations so ordering these two will definitely give you the one you need. But I definitely don't care to have the second adapter, personally. I have two identical portable monitors, so I would have liked to get two of the adapters I need, instead one of each.

Honest review? Works nothing else needs to be said.

These worked as described for a mini monitor I had, but that monitor only lasted two months at no fault of these, so can't tell you how long they will last.

These save the day on my Nikon event HDMI to monitor connections. I even go as far as to hot glue them permanently to my cameras so they are always ready and no more worn out pins. Later the hot glue can be peeled off

great adapter, works well and helps improve the look of my set up. Only wish there wasn't a LED in the adapter.

I use this to route the HDMI cable towards the back of my portable monitor else the connector was sticking out too much on the side of the monitor. Well made, and low profile. The only issue is you need only one of the two variations, but you have to pay for both, one which you'll never use.
