The Positive power post has burned.I'm in an RV, with this hooked up to a CloudPro Lithium 12v 150ah and 255w solar, running a 60w laptop and the Comfee portable countertop dishwasher, which is not huge power usage, but the Amazon page and supplied book does not state it, and I can't look at the back of it while it's running... But I'm definitely not approaching the 1000w rating for this inverter.The Red post going from the battery/solar charge controller gets really, really hot.... It has rattled loose a few times from driving, creating sparks and draining my battery while running the dishwasher. I've solved the loosening cap problem, but the post still gets extremely hot.This is using the supplied cables, which seem a lot more flimsy than any of my other wires. Might need to use different wire material, and maybe even change the material of the electrical posts so they can handle more current without overheating...I should have spent a bit more for something a lot better.

The unit works just fine. The cords are so short that I need to keep the hood up to use the inverter. That part bummed me out, but otherwise, the inverter itself works as advertised so far.
