Do all parker refills fit this pen

How do I insert the ink cartridge. I've tried pushing it on but it won't go. I don't want to break anything

Have you tried turning it the other way up. You just press it in and put the lid on. Do you have the right ink cartridge

Does the nib section on the matte black version have a gloss finish? The photo seems to appear that it does.

No, the entire exterior of this pen is matte black, apart from the gold look trims. Just adding that it's a lovely weight with a medium nib. Hope this helps.

Has anyone tried sketching with this or any Parker pen?
