I have the dw618pk. i am assuming that is short for pack and dw618m is short for motor? looking for a backup for my current set. will this work?

Will this motor fit the older 618 bases?

So I asked a similar question about this on Amazon and got a lot of answers after I took the time to research this router and on the dewalt website (and here) I found that the m of 618M stands for motor. So if your old base went with the 618pk (fixed and/or plunge base) you should be good. I sunk my original router into a sawstop router base and bought this motor to use with the bases so I didn't have to unmount the router I put in the router table.
