(I've ordered some through Amazon.com). The boxes are truly lovely, even out of paper. I've used the patterns to make lids for some boxes I already have, which is a nice feature of the "Folding a snuggly fitting lid" pattern instructions on pages 13 and 14.I have imagined making boxes wherein I simply cover a cardboard box with fabric to make the bottom portion of the box, and concentrate on using the origami method for making fabulous lids. As long as the box used on the bottom is square in cross-section, this should work!I almost gave this book four stars because some of the steps are shown in photographs which are VERY difficult to see and understand. An example is page 52, where the fabric is red, and there are very few shadows in the folding to clarify what one is to do at each step. Once I understood - mostly through trial and error with paper - the instructions became clear. The resulting box is really nifty, too. Most of the instructions were done with diagrams rather than with photographs, except for pictures of the finished product.This is a beautiful book, and one which will lead me to make some really nice gifts and decorative items. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful book, a new approach to origami boxes *by M***J on Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2008* I've been doing origami boxes for many years (see my reviews of Tomoko Fuse's books like  Origami Boxes  and  Fabulous Origami Boxes ) and I couldn't pass up the chance to try something new! This is essentially doing origami with stiffened fabric and the results can be quite neat. The book is just beautifully done, with all full color photos of the boxes being folded and easy to follow instructions. You can make a variety of sizes, but typically they come out considerably bigger than most of my origami boxes with paper do. The biggest challenge I found with getting perfect boxes was getting the stiffened fabric perfectly flat, otherwise you will have a hard time getting it cut into a proper square which is always essential to getting good results with origami. The book includes size information for different boxes for each design, information on finishing them with dividers, interfacing for stiffer sides, etc. I am still playing with what gives me the best results, as there is a lot of variations to try in here! And while these boxes in this book are all done using one large piece of fabric for top and bottom, you can easily use the same techniques and cut smaller squares to do modular "Fuse" boxes as well. Overall, I highly recommend this book for anyone that has an interest in making boxes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Origami with fabric *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2015* This was an interesting book and I was glad I made the purchase. It definitely contributes something new to my already large collection of origami books. (I have about 20 books on the art of folding.) Around the same time I also purchased a book called Wrapagami. The both are dealing with fabric but approaching it differently.
