Confirmed it's running at Gen4x4 speeds. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mostly works on win max 2 2023. *by B***1 on June 30, 2024* Mostly works in my win max 2 2023 7840U, and RTX 3070 but in order to get PCIE 4.0 x4 speeds I need to use the m.2 adapter. If I use the onboard oculink port then I need to drop the PCIe speeds to 3.0 x4 which equates to about 15-20% performance loss in the real world. For the price it’s something I’m willing to deal with, especially since I can 3D print a cover for the bottom oculink adapter. Your mileage may vary on other computers, or even this same computer, as I’ve seen reports of stable pcie 4.0 x4 on other Win Max 2 2023s. I tried different power saving settings and every tweak I could find in every bios version as of may 2024 but the behavior was consistent across all of them - as soon as the GPU was accessed for acceleration in 4.0 speeds the computer would either lock up completely or blue screen, unless I used the m.2 adapter.
