Love this lock! Is perfect for my electric scooter. I just keep both cuffs on my scooter's main down-tube then unlock one cuff when I stop and cuff it to a bike stand or other handy object (parking signs). One thing to remember is that the cuffs are either locked or unlocked - they're not like other locks that lock when you snap them together. Super convenient (top cuff stays closed but unlocked on my scoot until I need it) but you have to remember to use your key to lock every time when securing. Note that it is heavy but that means it harder to defeat, right?

Definitely does the job. I use this for my electric scooter.Here's where they should improve the product:1) Jiggling: The keyhole is loose which means when you're trying to pull the cuff open then move it around the key rotates out of the unlocked position so you can't operate the cuff. This forces you to constantly grab at the key and adjust it.2) Fraying: Even tho there has been no rubbing it abrasion, the nylon covering on the chain had started fraying in under a month of use. Feels like better stitching would solve this.3) Scratching: Lastly the rubber near the cuff joint should be thicker to create more space from the metal. This is already scratching the paint off the handlebar where I attach one end of the lock when riding.But in general I like this solution way better than a coil lock or a combo cord and lock solution for my scooter.

Wow, amazingly heave duty lock! I swear they weigh 10lbs. Nobody is going to get these off very easily.

Son had his first scooter stolen at UF. Purchased this to help secure the replacement. I week after using it he fount tool marks on the lock where someone had tried to break it to steal his scooter. This lock is well worth the expense and is holding up great!
