Excellent alternative to pricey name brands!
Let me begin with some history... I have been drumming for nearly 40 years. I currently own 4 drum kits and need a throne for each setup. I own a Roc N Soc hydraulic, which is probably the best throne I have ever owned - it is very sturdy, comfortable and versatile. However, it is heavy and expensive! I also have a Tama first chair... also very sturdy and comfortable - but it creaks a little. Too noisy for studio recording. I have a couple Gibraltar mid-tier thrones too. But I figured it was time to upgrade and didn't want to spend over a hundred bucks. A couple weeks back, I purchased a different Starfavor throne for about $65 here on Amazon. It was lightweight and had a large motorcycle style memory foam cushion. The base was sturdy but did not extend quite high enough for me (I sit much higher than most drummers I know) and the seat was hard as a rock. I immediately returned it and took a chance with this model. And wow! This is perfect match! Super comfortable cushion - very sturdy and adjustable base. And best of all, it extends to over 25 inches - just the right height for me! My only complaint is the heavy odor (off-gassing) from the plastics. But I'm sure it will air out in a few weeks. Great buy. I heartily recommend!

Incredibly Comfortable
This throne like others said does do a minor wobble but it doesn’t feel cheap at all! It is incredibly comfortable to sit and play on for hours on either drums or guitar. I plan on ordering extras soon for my acoustic project everyone who has sat on this throne absolutely loves the comfortability of it.

Yup - it wobbles. It's also not $250 and I can sit on it for hours.
You're getting what you pay for. No matter how securely you lock in the support cuff, within an hour of playing it's loosened up and you're on a bit of a pogo stick.Although it feels rickity, I kinda like it as I get rocking about. But that's me enjoying a design flaw, not a feature. That said, it was cheap in relation to others, and I can easily sit and hammer away in my garage for 4 hours at a time without my butt hurting! Not sure if I'd want to sit on it if I were 250+ lbs.

Comfortable, sturdy
Bought this stool about 3 months ago. It is very comfortable and sturdy. The seat does not rock for me and swivels just enough to help me get around the kit.It does not get moved from place to place, just where I have my ekit set up for practice. I don't know how well it would stand up to a gigging situation. For context, I am 5'10" an 200lbs and have not had any issues with the stool.Great stool for the price.

Amazing Throne!!
This Throne is exactly what I pictured it to be! Obviously I wasn’t expecting something way out of the park amazing but it works for me. It does it’s job well and it hasn’t broken down at all since I assembled it. It has a little wobble which isn’t really a problem for me because it doesn’t wobble unless I lean very far to grab something while sitting down. You literally won’t even realize the wobble is there if you simply use the chair for playing purposes. Obviously if somebody uses the chair to change a lightbulb than that’s different, but Overall an amazing product and highly recommend for drummers

Unstable. Don't buy.
Was told this was a good seat for taller people. It would be.. if the entire seat wasn't Unstable! The moment you get it stable and sit down, it becomes loose. It ONLY becomes stable when you finally have it twisted half way in, and at that point the seat is waaaaay to short for anyone tall. The seat itself is comfortable, but I can't recommend this product. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Too hard for me
I weigh 235 and need a soft seat. This one is way too hard for me. Nice build though.

This throne is quite comfortable
I have always stuck to lower priced round stools, but as i went through the Amazon selection available i say this one for a very now price (for a stool). I have only had it for a week, so I cannot speak to it's overall durability, it has all the appearances of being very durable. But it's comfort makes this quite worth getting.

Super happy with this drum throne
The padding is lovely on this throne and the height is perfect for me as a 6'1" person. It is nice and heavy and feels sturdy. The only gripe is sometimes the seat bolts loosen and the seat starts to swivel ever so slightly left to right. Seems a small gripe and not worth docking any stars over. Great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

Confortable et robuste au niveau métallique , mais les coutures entre le velours et la cuirette sont un peut évasé,on verra avec le temps si c est durable.
