Rather expensive in 2024. Is there a DE shortage now? The 25lb bag is close to $45 when it used to be under $20Still the same quality, comes with a scoop and was quickly delivered by Amazon. I guess I'll have to put an alert on my account to find this when the price drops. I'll hoard it like a dragon when it becomes more reasonably priced.

This 25 lb. container of DE was $15 less expensive than buying from a local home improvement store, shipped directly to me. I use this when i backwash my pool as an essential part of maintaining my filter efficiency. I find that less is more, depending on how often you backwash because it will build up on the filter grid and become less easily backwashed out so you have to remove the entire filter cartridge, disassemble and clean (you should do this yearly anyway). Best deal i have found on DE.

This stuff is as good if not better than the more costly items found at some retail stores. Very pleased with the product as well as price.

It's a great product but it would be better if it wasn't packaged in cardboard. If the cardboard gets wet all the DE is ruined. I put a large plastic bag around the box to protect it from humidity and rain in case I forget to put it back in the shed

It’s DE for my pool, what can I say? It looks like all the previous DE that I’ve bought. The price was good and I didn’t have to go to pool store to get it so that’s nice. Will keep in mind next time I need more.
