Oh How I Love Thee, Let Us Count The Ways
I spend a lot of time outdoors and I've had an "action cam" for some time, though it's pretty much basic and doesn't have near the features or capability of this camera. So far, from first impression to first use, I'm absolutely in love with this camera. What I Love:Supports shooting 4K (4096*2160) & 60FPS video and 48 Megapixel. It produces pictures and images so clear it's like looking out a window, not at a video screen.3" touch screen. Maneuver through the various settings from the screen.TWO batteries. I'm not entirely sure how long those last, but I used this camera for a total of about 1.5 hours and I haven't exhausted the first battery yet. When I take this to the deep woods I can recharge the batteries with my solar charger or with one of my power banks, so two batteries are going to work just fine.Stereo recording. I have a camera that records 'audio', but nothing like this. The sound recorded is amazing.Rotatable screen allows you to see what you're recording and then flips around so you can do selfies and get the image centered. You can download their app to use your mobile device like a remote control. You can establish the camera and then walk away, operating the camera when you like. I'll have plenty of uses for this application. (I set up the camera on my porch to record the activity at my hummingbird feeders. While I was outdoors a few birds would come, but most of them stayed away until I was gone. After going back indoors I used the app to start recording and got some amazing video of the activity). Two of the features I really love are IR recording (aka night vision) and time lapse (stop frame) recording. I'll be getting a lot of use from those as well. I haven't done any time lapse yet, but I did try out the night vision and I have to admit, I'm impressed at what you can see, how well you can see it and how well the camera records it.Supports SD card up to 256GB. I replaced the supplied 32GB card with a 128GB card and it amazes me that I can double that recording time again. Even recording with 4K, that's going to be a lot of video. Crystal clear video. With stereo sound.Supports motion detection to start/stop recording.Camera connects to my TV via HDMI cable. The images the camera displays look amazing. Like I said earlier, it's not like looking at a camera image, it's like looking through a window. A crystal clear window with stereo sound.I'm sure there is more that I am overlooking right now, but this camera is a beast. I keep picking it up to see what I want to say about the camera and keep getting distracted playing with it.And all of those cool features for only $100. It also comes with 90 day free return and TWO YEARS of free repairs. You don't get customer support like that with many purchases. That's a company that understands their customers and supports the products they sell.

Great value camera
The camera is a solid package with good features and quality. It doesn't work for me, as I'm looking to attach an external monitor while recording, which this doesn't permit, only for playback and doesn’t support clean hdmi. Also, you need to charge the batteries through the camera itself. Would be great if there's a link to a battery charger - which there might be.

Outstanding for its price
This is a very nice camcorder for under 100. First of all, it has the features that you would expect from a camcorder—it is lightweight, it has a sleek body, the screen folds out and can flip around, the zoom is smooth, the hand strap is adjustable, and the ports are hidden within small compartments. It also has the standard screw threads in the bottom to attach to standard tripods. The video recording quality is not bad; nothing particularly outstanding, but it gets the job done. The audio quality (without the external mic) is also not bad. The battery life is also not bad. What’s great about this product are the options that it offers. The included external mic does a good job of picking up sound (especially on the high setting). The external mic is also battery powered (with a built-in rechargeable battery), so that it offers the benefits of a powered mic without draining the camcorder’s battery. The product comes with a 32GB SD card, but it supports SD cards up to 256GB. The product includes an intuitive remote, which you can use in addition to the touch screen controls and the physical buttons on the camcorder. The product also came with two batteries. The camcorder also supports a wifi connection via a downloadable app, if you are interested in that. It also comes with a compact carrying case that fits the camcorder perfectly (which also means you will need a separate bag for the accessories and batteries). What’s not so great is some outdated technology. With today’s smart phones and tablets, we have grown accustomed to a certain level of responsiveness, quality, and sharpness. The touch screen controls, while intuitive, are not responsive. It sometimes takes multiple presses or hard presses to trigger a response. Thankfully, you can navigate through the menus with the built-in buttons as well (the built-in buttons are very responsive). There is no direct way to charge the batteries, so you must charge the batteries one at a time while they are in the camcorder. The camcorder also does not have a wide angle mode which lets you zoom out and record an entire room, for example. The recording sharpness and the display quality cannot compare with a modern iPhone (within the past three years). Aside from a few inconveniences, an iPhone probably does most things better than a camcorder including customizations, portability, battery life, shooting modes, etc..However, there are some benefits of using this camcorder:1) If you need to transfer large recording files (lets say to a laptop for editing), SD cards are so much easier than trying to transfer via dongles, iCloud, or AirDrop.2) If you have wireless mics or other recording instruments that plug into 3.5mm ports, you can easily plug them into this camcorder. The screen will confirm that it recognizes the external mic and you are all set. I was able to record incredibly clear audio with a lavalier mic.3) Everything is available in a neat package. With this camcorder, you can set it on a tripod, flip the screen around, and record yourself in 4k. If you use an iPhone, you will need some kind of holder for the phone in addition to the tripod, and you might have to sacrifice some features (depending on phone model) by using the front camera. The camcorder also has built-in ports; iPhones will require one or more dongles to get the same input/outputs.Overall, this is a fairly nice camcorder for the price. Smartphones can do most of what this camcorder offers (and do it better), but they do cost more. If you don’t trust a child or a stranger with your phone, a camcorder might be a good alternative. iPhones will probably never offer direct support for SD/micro-SD cards, so that is one additional convenience of camcorders. Some people might also appreciate the nostalgia of using a hand-held camcorder. In general, I would recommend this Hojocojo 4K Video Camera as long as you have a specific use case for it that is not already covered by a smart phone.

Several issues. Seller wont help
The camera takes good nightvision footage, but thats it. The touch screen does not respond, and the camera doesn't record audio. Both the cameras mic and the external microphone do not capture sound. I've tried to reach out to seller, but have received no response. I am now past my return window so I'm out of luck and have a paper weight.
