They work great. I have starter locs and it's sturdy enough for that so far. Sometimes I wish they were a bit longer, but it's good. I have used it twice in 1 month so far. I have had no rust issues like I read in a review. I slept with them in my head twice and there is no discomfort.

Wow do these hold! Too much so for my taste. I felt like they were going to break my hair after repeated use. They're great if you're looking for something that won't waiver though.

Used these for the first time today and they are keepers. Had used the DevaCurl brand before and found that they really hurt, both putting them in and taking them out. It was like the metal on those wasn't smoothed or polished. These are so much nicer to use and don't catch my hair. And there are lots of them! They worked well at giving me some lift at the roots and I like that they are flat and not duck-billed.

I use these to help style my drying curly hair. They look the same as the ones my hairdresser uses. The only problem is that I really didn't need this many (10 would have been enough). But it was about the smallest/cheapest package I could find and they do work just fine. I guess I can lose a few and they will still last forever.

These work great and there were a lot of them. Only negative is that they do tend to get stuck in my hair if I am not totally careful.

While my hair is wet, I use these clips by inserting them sideways on the top of my head under my very curly hair. It raises my hair style so that it isn't flat from the weight of my curls. My hair does stay wet longer because of the clips; but because of the curls, they are well hidden within. I have even gone out while my hair is still wet, and the clips are unseen. Love that. When I remove the clips, my hair stays in the high position and doesn't go flat again.

PROS: Good VolumeCONS: Easily tangle in hairThese do the job intended very well but my fine hair could not keep itself from tangling around them and I was afraid they were doing more damage ripping my hair out than good. I tried to be careful, and it is possible with a more expert hand or more practice, the tangling wouldn't be a problem. I just don't have enough hair to practice on.
