Nice assortment, some more functional than others
For suit trousers these are OK for an emergency but it's probably less hassle to just lose an inch. The main problem is that they don't do anything about the zipper gap that results, so your fly may open or be damaged. They are best for when you need to tuck a thick winter shirt into your favorite jeans, though.

doesn't really work if you are looking for more than 1/2 inch. At full expansion you can't zip your fly all the way
