Fly Racing Adult Rayce Cycling Helmet

I have difficulty finding helmets that fit my large, round head and allow me to also wear my prescription glasses, while also offering full face protection. I had previously purchased one that was rated for motorcycle use. It fit all my criteria but, was fairly heavy. This full face bike racing helmet also checks off all my requirement boxes while also being lighter, relatively inexpensive, and comes in a color scheme that’s pretty sharp and offers enhanced visibility for drivers and pedestrians. For me, the side pieces of my glasses fit into the gap between two pieces of the foam helmet liner. There are also plenty of vents offering decent airflow/cooling. The visor is adjustable. The paint finish on the helmet is very nice and slick.

I can not believe the insane low price for this helmet! I only purchased it as a stand in while I was painting my Mongoose full face. As soon as I got it I realized it was a far superior helmet! Form, fit and function perfect! Comparing the two - at this price point - no comparison. The finish is amazing! The ventilation superior! The ONLY drawback, it could use mesh in the ample ventilation to keep gnats and skeeters out in the spring and summer. Size yourself and order right away! If it doesn't fit perfect then go up or down in size and re-order! You will NOT BE SORRY!!!

Fits me well as all of my Fly helmets have. The small is a couple ounces lighter than the xs; I’m assuming due to the XS/S using the same shell but the XS having additional padding. The XS is just under 34 oz. Which is about a lb lighter than my kinetic helmet. Very noticeable difference on the pedal bike. Good venting too. Great value and option compared to a carbon helmet.

My daughter loves this helmet for BMX and says the ventilation is great. It’s not too heavy or over cumbersome.

Received a large was too small.. returned it for a XL.. that took awhile for a credit… when my XL arrived it was missing the chin strap pad.. I contacted Fly they said take pictures.. I did and they said it was there..WHAT NO IT WASNT..So they didn’t send me one.. I had to buy one…of course from a different company.. no more FLY RACING for me

The media could not be loaded.  A couple weeks ago I decided to invest in a full face helmet for mtb. Didn’t have lots of money, and compared to other helmets especially big brand helmets, this helmet is super affordable. Thank goodness I got it because 3 days ago I had a really bad crash over a 30 ft gap and snapped my collarbone and broke my elbow (Gonna need surgery 😢). You can’t totally tell from the video but I went down almost head first. You can tell from the collarbone x-ray that my head and right shoulder were the first things too hit the ground. Had a CT scan and said my head was totally fine. Not even a concussion. Had a way smaller crash couple years ago with a $40 helmet and suffered a concussion. If you are looking for a helmet to protect your head without going broke than this is a great option.
