Something that works AND is easy to cut to size and install? Yes please! I purchased the black so that I got the most light blocking possible for this type of product. I’m pleased how it works when my grandson naps here. It doesn’t block it 100% in the late afternoon sun (which is what is shown in the picture), but it does well enough. I still pulled the window shade over it to help more. You can see in the picture with the lights off that there’s a sliver of light on either side. I used the extra Velcro that was provided to stick it midway down the window frame and then I just tucked the shade in so that there was minimal light peaking through the outside edges. I also love that it comes with clips and you can raise it if needed versus other products that might be more permanent by sticking it to the whole window.

Here in AZ we struggle with the bright sunlight and excessive heat. In my house we have three 12" square glass blocks high in our dining room. They glare bright when you look that direction and radiate heat into the room. I measured the temperature of the block in the afternoon at 96°. I thought I would give these blinds a try and ordered the dark gray with foil back. After installation my wife and I both appreciated the decrease in bright glare from the blocks. I measured the temperature after installing the blinds and it was only 88°! That may sound hot but the 8° difference really benefits in reducing energy consumption for the air conditioner.Installation of the blinds was very simple and I had 3 cut and installed in 15 minutes. They are perfect for what we needed. Time will tell how long they last in the AZ sun and heat. If we only get one year use from them, we will be happy to purchase again next year.

I thought this would darken the room a little more, but they’re white, so I’ll have to settle for light filtering. Actually pretty good product-so far the adhesive is holding up, they look good behind my shears and they were easy to cut/install. They did come all folded and bumpy looking but when applied to the upper part of the window, it straightened up.

I purchased these blinds in Black to block out the sun in my new home. The bathroom has two clear block windows over the tub and it faces the west side so the light streams in extremely bright in the afternoon and makes it hot in the bathroom. These blinds are amazing and very easy to install. The sticky strip at the top works very well and it doesn't seem like it will fall off anytime soon. I had to trim the width and it was fairly easy. I didn't even do it exactly straight and you can't even tell. They block out most of the light and would probably block out everything if I had cut them a little wider. I plan on purchasing three more sets for an upstairs bedroom to try to keep the heat down in the summer.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Price was right for hanging these black shades for blocking the afternoon sun from a 6 X 6’ window. They were super simple to hang & have helped keep the room a cooler temperature. I can’t say they’re a decorators dream but they sure help the A/C run a little less often.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Budget friendly. do not know how to install blinds and my bathroom blinds broke so I had a sheet over it. It looks 10x better and easy set up!!

I like the convenience of this temp shade. It is attractive. It was easy to cut to my window specifications. The issue I have is the sticky hook and loop they provide for mounting is not keeping the blind in place. They send two small strips per blind, when applied if they are to far to the edge they allow the center to droop slightly. The next one I applied more toward the center and the edges drooped. The next morning one of the shades was on the floor. In summary the product is great, but they need to do better with the mounting material- better quality and more of it.

These are very light weight material...super easy to install...and super inexpensive! I needed 48 inch shade but they were too expensive...so I got 2 of the 24 inch shades...work perfectly and look awesome behind my sheer curtains.
