You are able to view the tympanic membranes butt with no magnification. Nothing compared to the top brand.

Perfect for checking my lab's ears without a minor battle
I'm comfortable cleaning my dog's ears, but want to see what I'm doing and don't have 3 hands, so this helps with the chore. She is more tolerant of this than trying to evaluate and clean without one.

Can not see
The hole you see out of is as small as a toothpick. You can not see down the ear canal or see the ear drum.

Lightweight, very bright.Have not used for long periods so not sure it'll overheat yet but great starter

I have a small person who, for some unknowing reason, loves putting things in his ears. This is the perfect tool for finding such items.Very easy to use. Clear field of vision. Just what is required.
