Easy to use, good value for money

I have read all the good things about Datatool but nobody has said if you have to pay any more than the purchase price

Added to newly purchased motorcycle. Used similar kit on my other motorcycle 2004- similar setup other than stencil for glass on wing mirrors. Guess they phased that out. Will hopefully deter unwelcome attention and will most certainly reduce low life ability to sell on.That’s the plan.More peace of mind.

Love the security aspect of microdotting, any one hoping to steal your motorbike or other belonging to strip down and resell the parts is taking a big risk, they’ll never find the microdots you’ve applied and if one is ever found on a part, there’s a trail right back to who sold the parts.Item comes in a little bottle, it’s like clear lacquer.. you apply it with the included applicator that’s in the lid of the bottle.. I’ve used this on every motorcycle I’ve owned, and there’s enough for a good 40-50 applications. The product also comes with a registration card and a security sticker, warning would be thieves that the bike is protected by datatool datatag. Wouldn’t be without this product, it’s excellent value for money!

£40 at time of reviewLet’s hope I never need to contact them, although having seen their almost 100% 5 star reviews on trust pilot for their service, it certainly fills me with confidence.You receive a small booklet, a small bottle with a applicator brush attached to it’s lid, a credit card sized contact card & a couple of stickers (only one shown as the other has my serial number on it). Registering an account & adding your vehicle details on their website is very simple, it’s obviously more set up to deal with commercial clients and those with entire fleets of vehicles, but it’s still relatively simple to use as an individual.Also I’m using this for my rather expensive eBike (costs as much if not more than the average scooter or motorbike), not on a motorbike, scooter or car as the website and system is designed for. Not that that should matter, as in reality you should be able to apply this to whatever you want as proof of ownership.Once registered I applied the paint onto various areas of my bike, the manual gives numerous suggestions on places to apply to paint depending on your type of vehicle, although there’s no way to keep a record of where the paint has been applied on the website or app (which would have been a nice feature)So all in all the registering & pain application process couldn’t have been easier, as to how effective the solution is I’d only be able to say in the unfortunate event that my eBike was stolen, but as I said, looking at the reviews online, I’d say it’s a good system.Hope my review was helpful

so i tired to update my purchase, after puttin DA all over my bike, but couldn't work it out. It seems you need a registration number plate to be abe to use the service. Let me know if anyone can make it work without number plate

I did not find any info regarding cost,you have a monthly charge to register the product,or you can pay a yearly charge,so just hoping the warning sticker will put of anyone looking to steal my bike
