Pyle PSI03 Acoustic Sound Proofing Deadening Vibration Isolation Speaker Base

It’s not often I write reviews (if at all), but I just had to with this.The isolation pad has improved my listening experience so much. The bass no longer feels like it just hits the carpet and is trapped there. The only way I can explain it is that the bass now feels a lot more ‘open’ and one with the music but not ‘lost’ if that makes any sense?I was extremely sceptical that this pad would do anything at all and that I’d end just up sending it back for a refund (especially with this room being quite small), but I was SO wrong.I primarily listen to heavy music (August Burns Red to be exact as I type out this review) and the low end is wayyy more punchy and focused now. Gunfire and explosions on games like Call of Duty and Battlefield sound much better now too.Some may say this is placebo effect, but I’ve had these speakers (Edifier S360DB 2.1) for quite a while now, so I was immediately able to tell the difference. There was no need for a side by side test of with and without the isolation pad.If it wasn’t already clear, I am super happy with this purchase and I’m glad I made the decision to order one.

I changed from carpet to hard floors and my subwoofer acoustics changed markedly. Whilst different isn't necessarily wrong or bad, to my ear it just sounded a bit bloomey and overblown.I purchased one of these as part of a trial & error experiment see if I could dial the sound back in towards my preference. My sub has front firing driver with base mounted passive radiator diaphragm, and I have to say this plinth has given the subwoofer back its sound signature. It sounds tight, punchy and integrates well within the wider set up. Have turned the logo to the rear, but otherwise its a decent plinth.

Though they don't look anything special, and the cheap labels fell off,I'm very pleased with the sonic result, at a very affordable price

My book shelf speakers are on a chest of drawers near my amplifier so I used to feel that the "sweat spot" was a bit high up. I now have them pointing down at the 10 degrees down configuration and the sound is better when I'm sitting .

Stopped my Subs bouncing round the room! Huge difference to the sound stage.

I love the dampening of the bass and the fact that dampening doesn’t mean less! The Pyle directs the bass more into the listening space and less through my walls and floors. I live in an apartment and that’s a game changer for me, I AM A CUSTOMER 4 LIFE!

Was shopping around for down angle stand for my Adams Audio speakers (7" I believe) and they are situated on top of Ikea cube 4x2 shelves that are on either side of my standing desk. As I sit most of the time and these speakers are very directional really wanted an option that would not only direct the cones towards me, and also would provide sound isolation.Many of the other options were well over $100 and although I'm sure they are probably worth it for long term durability, these get the job done. They offer I believe 3 combinations for increasing angles and for these that are sitting about 5' off the ground the most downward angle pretty much directs these right at my ears. This really helped with the sound stange and images when I'm listening to different tracks and really made a big difference in the setup.In addition as I live in an apartment with very little insulation in downtown, this also greatly reduced the base transfer to the point where there is almost no transfer to my desk even at pretty loud volumes (these are monitors in a small apartment so they dont' need much). For the price these can't be beat for an entry level, I'm sure that you can get more isolation but if you are on a budget you will forget about the other options in short order.

Musste meinen Canton Sub in der Ecke platzieren , mit dem PYLE Sockel ist der Bass viel besser und dröhnt nicht mehr.

I have JBL partybox 310 and I use this with it , had helped a bit as I live in 5th floor and don't wanna disturb neighbors
