The spring that was used is too strong. You can't very easily compress it and it deforms the cabinet frame when used.I took mine apart and replaced the springs with ones that would work.

Good springs for airguns. Must be cut to length. Better quality than stock springs in some airguns.

I got this to use as a ceramics or pottery cut-off wire aka a wiggle wire because of the wavy shapes the stretched out spring leaves on clay. It’s working well. It’s really long so I can tailor it to the required length between my own handles. It is holding its “wiggle” shape despite stretching. Great!

As described works well, one spring can be cut down and used in two sig 322 mags....
